Officer-involved shooting under investigation in Kenosha

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58 ) -- An officer-involved shooting investigation is underway in Kenosha on Sunday, Aug. 23.

The shooting happened near 28th Avenue and 40th Street around 5:11 p.m., after officers were called for a "domestic incident."

According to police, officers provided immediate aid to the person. They were transported via Flight for Life to Froedtert in Milwaukee for treatment. The person is in serious condition.

A large crowd gathered near the scene following the shooting.

Kenosha Sheriff’s Department and Wisconsin State Patrol were requested immediately so that the scene could be turned over to an agency other than Kenosha police.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ), Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) will handle the investigation.

Well, what could he have said that would a) bump it up to a 1st degree and b) still make him look sympathetic? I think him being underage really helps his case here. Wouldn't be surprised if he was crying in the interview once it finally hit him what happened and what the possible consequences are. Last thing prosecution want is a teenager crying over something that is traumatic.

I think the prosecutor is insane. There is likely no way he doesn't end up with a hung jury no matter how many times he tries it. Because intentional or not, the kid did what a lot of people were thinking. This isn't he went out hunting random strangers in a normal world. This was the dystopian world of Left Wing Amerika where they are burning your shit down because they can. Kid stood up and pushed back. The DA will be hard pressed to find 12 people for which there is nobody thinking that.

It's another Zimmerman styled prosecution. Overcharge them to push a narrative. I think they did the same thing with the guy who got blamed for the death of Saint Floyd. Entirely political to push an agenda.

It's not even close to a Zimmerman issue. For Zimmerman and even Fentanyl Floyd the public is largely a disinterested party gaping at the trainwreck as they drive by. Outside of the most abstract discussions of law and policy the public was not reallya direct party to the incidents. There was no degree of danger, no potential incipient harm to the general public. Whereas in Kenosha? They be burning the city down. The public has a very real very tangible interest in the affair. And honestly the Defendant's lawyers would have to be insane to even contemplate a change of venue. Hold that trial someplace where you can still smell the smoke.

You can beat the rap but you can't beat the ride, for the rest of his life he's going to have people harassing him. This kid better move the fuck out of Illinois.

On September 9, 2014, Zimmerman was named by police in a road rage incident in which another driver, later named by police as Matthew Apperson, claimed that Zimmerman followed and threatened him.[44][45] Zimmerman later claimed in testimony that Apperson approached him over a rear tire leaking air, which Zimmerman was already aware of. He had explained this to Apperson before Apperson asked if Zimmerman knew he was "wrong for killing that little black boy". Zimmerman lost Apperson after the two stopped at a gas station and Zimmerman drove off.[46]

On May 11, 2015, Apperson shot at Zimmerman while the two were driving in separate cars on a street in Lake Mary. Zimmerman was grazed by glass and metal

Dude got put away for attempted murder, but goes to show you that you can be an innocent person and still have mentally ill people think that you are in the wrong. Until someone like the FCC wants to crack down on it, they're just going to keep pumping out lies and propaganda about these things. I don't know if they have any legal standing to do so.

Mass shooter requires 4 bodies, doesn't it? He killed 2, injured 1.

That gun charge isn't going to stick, based on this -

I'm pretty sure his $450 dollar AR-15 is 26" or more long, which means it wasn't possession of a deadly weapon, according to Wisconsin law, and according to Lin Wood, the gun was a legally loaned gun belonging to a resident of Wisconsin, so the gun isn't from out of state, and there's no evidence that Kyle was ineligible to possess a firearm. There's also a pair of gun lawyers weighing in claiming that the Wisconsin law is drafted in such a way that there may be a loophole that allows anyone over 16 to lawfully possess and carry a long rifle, which the AR-15 certainly qualifies as - https://archive.vn/loKja

There's also the clause about "FOID being available to someone that has a sponsor older than 21 years old, and eligible for an FOID."

Kyle is walking on the gun charges, from the looks of all this.

Also, maymays -
I wonder if this is it for the rioters.
I and many others expected the momentum would only halt once shots got fired. It's not the deranged massacre I reluctantly expected or the glowies would have wanted, but still, it's something.

Part of me expects a lot of rioters to stay home, given the risk of instant death, but another part of me expects a lot of college educated, 113 IQ individuals to overthink themselves into justifying going out. "Well, I wouldn't try to grab the gun off him, running's what I'll do, and I'll leave my skateboard at home, a shooter won't attack somebody unarmed"
People like that might defy Lizard Brain instinct, but if they're at this stage they'll also recognise all their presence does is provide cover for property damage. This isn't like Minneapolis where there was a City Hall to burn, nobody even heard of this town before the wifebeater got shot.

I think what's going to happen is more lefties are gonna be carrying airsoft gear in a bid to look hard to any perspective citizens looking to defend their property and businesses from them.
You mean we're gonna get more CoD Warzone LARPing with fanny-packs filled with shotgun shells and 50 pieces of clothing and apparal buckled onto clueless milennials?

Can we crosspost this thread with Beauty Parlour? They're the experts on this, but part of what made Kyle, the St. Louis couple and the Roof Koreans so memorable is their aesthetics. No tryhard bullshit. Just otherwise normal people being confronted with anarchy and only a high-powered weapon to hold back the tide. The contrast is what makes it iconic. Nobody believed those anti-lockdown militias were serious (since their aesthetics of rivalling the government was nullified by asking police permission for everything), or the Boogaloo boys (who were so obviously fake it was comedic) so nobody's gonna take these LARPers seriously either.
The clothes, verifiably, DO NOT make the man in these situations.

Some of the most SJW people I've ever known have asked me for gun advice in the last few months. It's all fun and games until the mob comes down your street. This is a major fracture in the left, and it has been for a while, but this is putting it to the test.

The ACLU is calling for the resignation of the sheriff and police chief, even thought the sheriff was part of the "knee for nine" or some shit a few weeks ago.

Anyone have a link to Kyle's hearing today?

So apparently the bail for third-degree felony sexual assault is $500.

You could fuck a pretty hot hooker for that price.

Perhaps I missed it, but it is still unknown why the "shoot me nigga" guy was chasing rittenhouse in the first place?
The most basic answer is that he was an angry manlet with a history of violence and thought he could attack someone as they were no longer in a pack. Other speculation includes mistaking Kyle for another guy he had a go at earlier, or possible co-ordination with handgun shooter if that 4chan ID speculation is correct (based on similar profiles to people he was near in the shoot me nigga video).
