I think quite a few people here have advocated violence, but from a platform of knowing that actually engaging in it results in you glowing for the rest of your life and being essentially fucking ruined, so no one's actually gonna waltz out and happening the protesters unless they're manic as shit, people would just thoroughly like to see most of these degenerates lined up, even if they know it isn't going to happen - you may be passive to people destroying the country and the consequences befalling them (imprisoning them just adds to taxpayer tolls, as if taxpayers should have to pay for the lives and livelihoods of people that would otherwise see them dead and have spent time burning the country down), but most aren't.

Look I'm normally thoroughly expressive about my full stops in my diatribes, but now that you mention it, I'm going to try to appeal to the youth of America by formatting my paragraphs with nothing but hyphens and semicolons.

In news local to me, the protests in Raleigh ended up in multiple arrests and random shots fired that went nowhere - they asked for a public call to action at the detention center for those arrested which attracted a moderate crowd, but nothing more. Saturdays are far more fruitful for them anyway.

It was weird seeing the protests in Japan of all places back in early June, but then you see the pics and it's all mostly white or black Westerners and maybe one or two bored-looking Indonesians or Filipinos in the crowd at the absolute most.

The actual Japanese citizenry generally thought the protesters were morons and called them out on it before the cops got them to disperse.

From my anecdotal experience in Canada, our protests were just a new way to shit on America basically. Another reason to look down (literally and figuratively) at or "moral inferiors". I don't think most Americans realize just how much other countries are invested in you culturally. It's actually sad, honestly how much of a "But you hang negroes" attitude. Top that off with there are many people who non-ironically think that America is just going around murdering black people like it's a sport and that the government are crypto white nationalists, etc. Also all of these countries are getting browner so there's more investment to go after whitey because the effects get felt in the countries that they're in.

Well, truthfully, Japan and all of that isn't too surprising - going back to the 30's and the interbellum period preceding it with multiple socialist protests and marches across the world, a lot of them took place in really unlikely locations but they never actually acquired steam in those locations. Things like this have a reverb effect where people as basic as fucking tourists in foreign countries feel a need to state their personal opinions, and it will almost always lure at least 5-10 natives that are delusional enough to believe this is some sort of righteous cause - after all, perceived righteousness is very attractive to just about anyone; it would've been surprising had that shit actually picked up steam in those countries.

EU politics are a gigantic circlejerk clusterfuck and the only reason far-right politics have been granted such a resurgence is because of the fact European leaders have taken the diversity notice and the white guilt pink slip to a point of no return and sheer insanity, as if Western Europe has just become a fucking shrine of cultural decay.
