I've said this earlier in the thread, but once again: if you're looking for a feminist or female-driven movie, why the FUCK are you watching a lowbrow action movie that is clearly being marketed towards men?

(Because :stupid:, yeah, I know.)

If the current SJW/MRA sperging about Mad Max is anything to go by, they know they can rally for/against if something 'male' is given a 'feminist spin'. To me it causes a shallow way to watch films and interpret them, but is usual cannon fodeder that both SJW and MRA like to take the bait.

In other words, people like Wu know that more people will comment about whatever Mad Max is ruined/savedfornewgeneration by labeling feminist or something, than discussing about the The Hours, a film that contrast Virgina Woolf with modern women. Low common denominator.

I am suprised that Wu has not went on a spergasm about the Aliens franchise because of Ripley being female

That's because saying that Ripley is a strong, empowered female lead is an uncontroversial statement which is unlikely to cause a stirrup and lead to more publicity, """harassment"""" and - perhaps most importantly - patreon bucks.

It's hard to appear edgy without (pseudo)controversy

Can't these people just leave their doctrines at the door for a couple of hours and just have fun? Why does every single thing have to address their ideology to be worthwhile?

Because they believe everything is inherently political. Everything can, nay, must be politicized.

Your every action is automatically an ideological one in their eyes, and they believe this because they, themselves, are ideologues and cannot comprehend otherwise.

In their world, viewpoints not their own are haram. There are words that must not be read, concepts not considered, music not listened to, ideals not challenged, and thoughts not pondered. If this reminds you of something, then congratulations, you know why several on the Farms (myself included) refer to Wu and friends as cultists, since they use the same fucking tactics and the same fucking language.

Haha, I love how there's a woman that's arguably (haven't seen it myself) not straight out anti-feminism, maybe a little pro, and then here's good ol' Anita saying "Oh no, no no no, this isn't feminism because, um... reasons! Yeah! donate to my patreon pls"
It's never good enough for these people, they've always gotta ask for more.

Wu should review a flick like A Serbian Film.

No they literally can't. They are so infused with this whole black/white thinking. Tell a SJW that actor x said something and they will flip their shit. Tell the other side that comedian y is a jew and they will denounce all they've ever said. This is what is so fucked up about both sides, it doesn't matter what is said. What matters is how the person saying it looks.

If that is your worldview of course you can't just enjoy shit, you need to make sure that no blacks or enough POCs are in it before you make up your mind.

A little late to comment on the Terminator tweet, but Terminator 2 was the shit. One really good example of a sequel being better than the original. At least it seems to be a popular opinion.

As for Terminator 3? A few parts in the movie that I remember: when the T3 was choosing its form and chose a female model and when it was stopped by a police officer and made it's boobs bigger to get out of being fined or arrested. If anything, I would think Brianna would dislike the movie because of the ~overwhelming sexist views on woman being valued solely on their bodies~. Unless she views that as a woman using her sexuality and being powerful, but that conflicts with past opinions.

Basically just her bitching to bitch, you can't win. T2 had Sarah Conner, a literal strong, independent woman who goes on to raise one hell of a son. Yet she goes with the shallow (NOT EVEN AN ACTUAL HUMAN FEMALE) robot. Hell, maybe he can relate more to a faux female.

Lol t3 wasn't even a woman anyhow it was just an emotionless skeleton thing that changed it's shape to look like a woman but still it didn't act or thin......She likes t3 because it was a character she could relate to
