Was told by a friend that rioters start fires to gain media attention. I'm not gonna explain why that's a bad take because everyone knows that's just retarded. BLM has never really had a logical train of thought, they've always leaned on emotion, but they've gone for crazy now. (:_(

A realization.

Kyle is the perfect representation of classic American values standing up against these little shits. A cherub faced white-latino youth who actually had a fucking job, idolizes the police and fire fighters, has trained in responsible gun ownership and use, who volunteered for his community after working all day, up to and including supporting Black Lives Matter (but not Black Lives Matter(TM)) and giving medical treatment to rioters.

Worse, he took out 3 of their fucking Antifa foot soldiers, and ALL THREE OF THEM are absolute dregs of human society. A convicted pedophile with documented anger management issues who initiated the conflict and is on film using a Gamer word without permission and trying to initiate conflict. A serial felon who has been accused of attempted rape. And a Jewish serial burglar who was openly trying to kill the kid after pretending to surrender.

Beyond just shattering the illusion for the right -- every single family in Wisconsin has a kid like Kyle or knows 10 of them in the neighborhood -- Kyle's actions probably shattered the illusion for the LEFT.

I seen that earlier, and I have to admit, I am fucking seething. These miserable fucking faggots are targeting a minor, and want to cause him serious harm. I don't know if it's the cumulative effect of all that's happened over the past couple months with blm/antifa hurting and killing people, and the shutdown protesters being shit on by the media and the blm/antifa being praised; but I am madder than I've been in awhile. I do believe that's the point of all this, to get us into a rage and demoralize the fuck out of us; I have to hope it's gonna swing in the other direction at some point.

But when the fuck is this gonna stop? What can an average person do?

That's not entirely wrong. There's a reason they drag shit out into the street and set fire to it. It looks amazing on film. But it's less for the media and more for their own internal propaganda and masturbation sessions.

Do you wonder why Antifa has plainclothes people showing up with cameras filming shit from all angles? Plainclothes gives them the ability to (falsely) claim to be a bystander. It signifies to the Black Bloc Antifa members not to rely on them. And if they're filmed being attacked, then suddenly it's "innocent bystandars attacked by alt right thugs!" When shit goes down, like if a black bloc idiot gets separated from the mob and is in danger of experiencing consequences for their actions, these plainclothes guys will step forward and protect them by pretending to be concerned passers by just wanting to keep the peace.

And yes, many of these plaincloths types are from the NLG and other legal groups.

The footage they record is professionally put together and then given to the media. So the media doesn't have to do shit and they have GREAT footage of the noble resistance fighting back against Orange Hitler's foot soldiers.

My theory on how to deal with this? Cans of black spraypaint. Since they're already wearing black bloc, this spraypaint can be used to blind their stupid goggles and face masks, as well as permanently block Antifa's film crews from filming. Antifa uses Vaseline in the same fashion on non-antifa recording people, as well as having antifa goons -- always girls -- standing in front of people and blocking their view. Plus, if you do get some spraypaint on their exposed skin (read: faces) you can pick them out of a crowd the next few days for isolation and a proper beatdown.

And hey, in a worst case scenario, add a lighter and I'm pretty sure you have a makeshift flame thrower.

Vote Republican. Get as many of your friends and family members to vote Republican as well. Offer to ride share if you think someone will vote Republican but might not bother going. Vote AGAINST shit like "police reform" and "criminal justice reform" which allows for shit like abolishing bail. Work at getting shit like that undone via ballot initiatives. It's trivially easy to get ballot initiatives on the books in most regions of the US, but it takes work.

Get on mailing lists for Republicans and other Right wing organizations. EVERYTHING about the left, especially the far left, is about organization, which is why they do whatever they fucking can to stop the right from organizing, up to and including abusing anti-gang laws to stop the Proud Boys, as one example.

You need to speak up. It may be hard, but at least try, especially for this. Couch it with sympathy or whatever the fuck you think will help you keep your job, but say something.

“It’s a tragedy that people died, but...”

“I feel for the protestors that left before curfew, but...”

“I know that our law enforcement system is flawed, but...”

“That kid shouldn’t have been there in the first place, but...”

This is a major watershed event and a chance to show people that the narrative they’ve been peddled for three months is muddled with bullshit. People don’t like being told they’re wrong, but they need to at least think it’s possible. I’ve kept my mouth shut on a lot of things but this is the first time I’ve seriously pushed back with family members who only heard part of the story.

“I watched the video, and it’s not the same story I read in the paper...”

They fucking hate this. It stings, especially when they realize they’re making wild, dangerous claims based on a Facebook comment or headline they half-read. It’s hard, but the biggest favor you can do someone is remind them that they need to form opinions based on evidence they see, not stuff that was repeated second hand.

People’s opinions are largely going to be solidified based on the sole fact of whether they sympathize with the protestors or not. They’ll bend the rest of the details to suit that initial judgement. If the protestors are the in-group in their minds, they’ll get hostile defending them, but they need to see the truth and they need to think their stance through to the logical conclusions.

There are a couple important details I’ve tried to stress:
  • David Blake was being arrested for an outstanding warrant for sexual assault, he violently resisted, and the call that brought the police there in the first place alleged domestic abuse.
  • The organized BLM protest in Kenosha ended at around 9:00pm and anybody left after that was more than likely looking to be violent
  • People there after 9:00pm were violent. They burned down businesses and assaulted bystanders.
  • Destruction like this has been explicitly encouraged and enabled since the unrest started. Local government had the option of allowing peaceful assembly while condemning violence and property crime, but they chose not to for three solid months.
  • Maybe people want to compartmentalize the well-intentioned peaceful protestors as different from the violent ones, but many of the violent protestors don’t make the same distinction
  • Many protestors were armed in Kenosha that night, and have been armed at other riots since day one
  • Kyle Rittenhouse did not fire indiscriminately into the crowd
  • The journalists who crafted that narrative had access to video proof well before they started writing about it, and they are willfully lying
  • Video evidence shows Kyle being assaulted, shot at, and knocked to the ground before defending himself
The list goes on, but this situation is so fucked that it’s frankly irresponsible to let people continue on this trajectory without knowing the basic facts. Give them an out if you have to, let them sympathize and identify with people who are well-meaning and want change, but step the fuck up and shatter the illusion that a huge portion of rioters want anything but destruction and misery.

If the violence continues, people will have to defend themselves and we need to do everything humanly possible to remind people that, if attacked, you have a right to defend yourself and your loved ones, regardless of the perceived politics of your attackers.

Killing someone is a crime, but in doing so you're defending your own life that's a valid defence against the charge.

Because if he was unarmed those thugs would have seriously injured Kyle. And you'd think a firearms transport issue technicality is way less serious than killing someone. So why isn't self-defence a valid argument against a less serious charge as well? The only difference I see is that defending yourself hours in the future vs. defending yourself in the moment shows greater foresight and intelligence in the former case.

There's a wild logical inconsistency going on here, if you think about it.
