There is a private classically liberal/conservative liberal arts college in my state that offers different gun training classes for PE credits, Looks like they even have a competitive shooting team, they should offer Kyle a full ride, once everything is blown over.

I've found playing athletic grugbrain makes it much easier for me to give pushback than smart guy who maybe knows more about this sort of thing than is normal or really healthy. It makes it much easier for people pass me off as perhaps mildly eccentric but ultimately very nonthreatening. They can fit me into a nice stereotype.

If I'm around people who don't know I'm a bit of a political junkie (extremist/dissident politics I find particularly curious) and who I don't care to know, I say things very differently. For example, today I was asked by an obviously left wing academic how I managed to keep a nice role of disinfectant wipes stocked every time I show up at the club we both belong to because she couldn't find any. Instead of explaining that I saw how China was buying up PPE in Jan+Feb and stocked up on my own, I just told her, "I saw there was a bad virus in China on the news and am paranoid, so my gut told me to stock up on stuff I use anyway." Similarly, if someone asked me about the Kyle thing, I would probably ask if it was true that he killed a pedophile which would hopefully make them look it up.

Sometimes I wonder if being surrounded by liberals is making me insane or if this makes sense.

This is possibly one of the stupidest articles I'll read this year. If the DNC's platform has seriously started to pivot towards "fuck small business owners" then I don't even know what could be done to save the party. That's electoral suicide in possibly one of its purest forms.

Then again, this is the same woman who thinks that ice cream truck music is racist. You can't expect much from a person like that.
