Being an old post, I wouldn't be surprised if this was covered here before. If you want to check the comments, feel free. The responses are somewhat sane, though. They all tell him either to fucking get a shower or a therapist, and that being trans is not excuse for this behavior. I agree, this guy has fucking mayor issues and 'dysphoria' isn't making him not shower.
However, I'm making this post to draw attention to the whiteknights over at r/subredditdrama.

I've never had a problem with transgenders honestly but this last year it's hard to tell which of them are real and which are just going through a life crisis and acting out for attention on the internet

Power level: They typically keep to their own circles. There's a little bit of crossover between the communities, but normally gay men hang out with other gay men and the lesbians generally keep to their own kind, also.
And then you get into all the little subcultures inside the two groups.

It's kind of an open secret that LGBT is and has always been an alliance of convenience. Yeah, gays and lesbians are both within a single grouping (homosexual), but their interests don't necessarily overlap. With that in mind, it's not that surprising that some LGB are dropping the T. The T are being very inconvenient.

It's almost like there's no way to win with these people so society at large is just choosing not to play. If there's even truth to the story. I've never met a hairdresser who outright says that they won't do a specific cut on a person, especially so if that person isn't even present. I have seen conversations where they advise against a haircut once seeing the person because they feel it isn't the right cut or they'll offer up options they feel would be better suited, but I find it very hard to believe that a hairdresser would outright refuse to do a haircut based on the voice and request of a person on the phone. They're offering a service, they don't get to make decisions based on their own wants for a customer. Short hair on women in this day and age is pretty common, wanting a 'male hairstyle' is not asking them to cut off your fingers or something. Heck she could have easily said 'female haircut' when on the phone and brought a photo of a woman with a 'male haircut' when she went in person it ain't that hard.
How would a salon even know the haircut is even for the person booking? Heck, most hairdressers I know book based on the service to be rendered- wash, cut, trim, cut and color, eyebrow wax, etc. Sure male and female haircuts can have different pricing but the question should probably be more about the length you're choosing. Are you going long to short, short to shorter, etc.
I have heard of barber shops that usually turn down female clients and I get that in the sense that if they can book for both hair and beard care, where they make more money, vs. a woman who just wants a haircut - they're obviously going to want to book the client that gleans them more revenue.
I always feel like when it comes to 'haircut' stories they aren't fully explaining the story or there was some misunderstanding.

There's no real trans. There are people who feel better presenting as opposite gender but it is the current framework of current society (gender norms and trans category for people who found discomfort in it) that allows them to be trans in the first place.
Or else, I feel similar, I've used to be live and let live kind of person about this - until insane troons are everywhere and they demand everyone to submit to them. Although they're more pitiful than anything else.
This made me think how most FtM softboi fujos I've interacted with seem really naïve. In fact you can hint to them that you're actually straight and it'll still go over their head as long as you're a real man and willing to fuck them.
But that's something about many internet troons in general. It seems like they are kind of airheads chasing validation or shallow presentation but not capable of self awareness.
