Not directly about Corissa, but I also spotted this cow crossover in the comments section.

I believe Danielle McAllister, most famous for her Starbucks and Taco Bell-filled "what I eat in a day" videos, has been discussed in the Fat Acceptance thread. Of course she's coming to the defense of bad food and the gorls who love it.

Someone's words about herself and no one else only make extremely immature, self-centered twats feel "judged."

And yep, Danielle subsists on frappuccinos, doughnuts, ketchup-drenched poutine, ice cream, chicken tendies, and gummy candy. She eats objectively "bad foods" and little else. Her palate is like a small spoiled child's dream menu--hell, even a child would be begging for fresh vegetables and water after eating like Danielle for a week. She also looks like shit and most certainly feels like shit; her lymphedema is out of control (and I'm sure she's bitter that Anna is allegedly trying to manage her personal lipedema issues through diet and exercise). Of course someone who exists in such toxic denial is a fan of Corissa, lmao.

i finally realize who corissa reminds me of

"perfectionism" "individualism" "objectivity" ???????

"right to comfort"???

can someone explain? i must be retarded.

Perfectionism: This is a new one. I'm not sure what it means but if I had to guess it's something to about how "white" culture is relatively no-nonsense and results-oriented. The idea that this is a bad thing or unique to white people is just silly.

Individualism: There are two parts to this, the first is that individuals have rights that society cannot take away (e.g. people refusing to follow quarantine orders) rather than the other way around (we have a responsibility to society even if that means giving up rights), and the idea that your achievements are thanks to you vs. your family's or community's. It's not a unique or terrible idea (I took a semester of leadership psychology in uni and we learned about how collectivist vs. individualist cultures think) but it's not just a white people thing-this kind of mindset is common in corporate and political leaders from any country, even collectivist ones.

Objectivity: I can't be asked to find it but this is not a new idea, a very exceptional artcow named Alok Vaid-Menon tweeted that "objectivity is one of the most violent words in the English language". One of his asspatters responded with "objectivity is privilege". I think what they're saying is that everything has a large degree of subjectivity (so either feels over reals or "can't prove me wrong") and therefore you have to kowtow to whatever lunacy they're spouting.

Right to comfort: Another new one, probably tied into the idea of "white fragility" or how we should be shamed for not bending over to looters. The shameless hypocrisy of this coming from the "safe space" crowd shouldn't be lost on any of us.

So yes somebody is retarded here but it probably ain't you.

EDIT: Also "Sense of Urgency". . . is this like the "characteristics of white culture" thing from the Smithsonian where they claimed punctuality was a white thing? If that's what she meant then all I have to say is :story: :story: :story:

EDIT EDIT: "Worship of the written word" actually makes me a little MATI. Literal cavemen figured out why this shit is important-the only way for your knowledge to be preserved after your (if you are very lucky) 80-odd years on this planet is to pass it on, and writing it down means it's easier to share that knowledge and less likely it'll be forgotten or misinterpreted. I'd love to see Corissa and Julianne explain how oral tradition is enough for things like blueprints for skyscrapers or even just the plumbing or electrical wiring for their house.

(powerlevel: I work in tech and we have to document everything-even if it's just "we wrote a little Python script to speed things up", we need to explain what it does, how it works, and how we know it works).

"objectivity is the most violent word in the english language" god what fucking pussies. you can tell these people have never had a slur hurled at them in their entire life if they really think that way. next thing you know they'll be saying logic and reason are white supremacy dog whistles. if they arent already, that is.

These people are so insecure. If one person said "Yay the doctors said they could reattach my severed leg!" They would say "Umm, are you saying having fewer than two legs is bad? Because there's a lot of people without legs who are hurt by your statement. I had to have both my legs cut off due to a mysterious bout of beetus and I've had to learn to love my body all over again. Now you're validating my fears that my stumps are not enough."

So.Much.Hot.Air.

I'll attempt to simplify this for woketards like Corissa and J. You want to be fat? Be fat. Have six 2 liters of Dr. Pepper a day. Knock yourself out. It affects my life not a whit.

However, if someone like Anna wants to lose some weight for the benefit of her health and well-being, so what? They aren't trying to shame you into it, that's how you are choosing to read into it. And that sounds like a personal problem to me.

There are entire websites dedicated to Juliana and Corrisa? Holy shit, let me see! Or don't, because they would be incredibly boring, not to mention non-existent.

Yeah, they get discussed on sites that examine internet loons and/or fat asses. But they don't have to look at them. They don't have to "spend all day moderating comments." And maybe if there was something more important than (food and) "praises, likes, and retweets," they wouldn't feel the need to.

I wonder what "thin and small folks" shared Corrisa's "work" uncredited to get J so worked up? It was probably just some FA copy pasta they all use.
