This gets to their special willful ignorance about fascism because they refuse to actually study it. (Even if to know HOW to reject it.) Trump
can be criticized as following fascist doctrines, but it's nothing unique to Trump it's more those fascist elements that already existed in the U.S. system that have accrued over the decades and the fact that he's President. Obama/Biden did and would do nothing to change most every single one of these. Trump isn't touching many of them either for good or bad. It's certainly not totalitarian like Germany was but plenty of the "towering heights" of the U.S. economy where the government is interested follow fascist style economic planning more than anything resembling say Marxist theory.
Fascism's hybrid design is on the one hand because fascist corporatism has its roots in syndicalism. But, in fascism the state's supremacy elevates it above everything so the syndicates become large vertical corporations with the workers at the bottom. The other hand is that the corporations exist mostly because fascists had a realism to them that recognized that you let the best people continue to run their companies, albeit in the state's interest. They are state enterprises in all but name at the end of the day but the day to day is left in the hand of supposedly competent managers who might even be capitalists or worse, liberals. This contrasts to a more "pure" socialism where it's entirely political who runs what industries and how. Fascists wanted to co-opt the steel companies, the arms companies, etc. to work for the state not take them over to destroy the entire structure (plus kill all the skilled workers/capitalists/liberals/etc.) and have it rebuilt from scratch from the ruins. That was the idiocy of the Soviets and why Stalinism (and even Leninism) starts to look more like fascism in practice, the Soviets when pressed against Germany and The Depression realized they needed to subtly make the same shift in their central planning.
If these Breadtube "debunkers" actually had to wrestle with fascism on its own grounds they'd constantly be running into problems they refuse to admit are problems because their own solutions look so much like "better or more" fascism but with respected gender pronouns. They think screaming "right-wing! right-wing!" is some kind of shield that protects them from getting infected. The funny thing is, if they actually would ever care to tackle it,
The Doctrine of Fascism is so fucking short and straight to the point and written so clearly that even the dumbest of these geniuses could knock it out in an hour they'll instead spend ten times as much on making a 40 minute video about some Twitter spat no one will care about in a week.
