The optimistic take on why there's been so little pushback - almost a baffling degree - may be that the more overt and open you let these people become, the more that you can dole out punishment. Let more people overtly get on board and build up enough to prosecute 'em, different from the sloppy jobs in the days of rage.

I don't think this is the case, though, as I don't know what the benefit of allowing more and more of this to fester is. Doesn't seem like letting a bunch of 14-24 year olds scream themselves into a riotous outrage (inbetween beating their spouses and fucking kids) will get you any closer to the roots of the organizations.

It's my belief that movements like this attract morally dubious persons that seek to use the mob as cover to commit their heinous acts. Just look at those wasted in Portland...they were just scum. A multiple time domestic abuser? A pedophile? The dregs of society attend these protests.

What about the right wing? Just look at something like the gun rights protest in Virginia. Despite the media collusion trying to label the crowd as NAZI's, where their any windows smashed? Stores set ablaze? Police officers attack?

Only if he decides to re-enter the state and they converge on his house. My guess is his advisors have told him to leave until after the election. In which one side or the other will likely put them down... cutting their funding or just putting them down brutally. Either because they've outlived their usefulness, or because the political trap wasn't sprung.

- Antifa showed up and skirmishes happened all day
- Tonight, a white man in a Patriot Prayer hat was shot by an (allegedly) black potential antifa member
- A non-white leader of Patriot Prayer showed up, Antifa swarmed him, the cops protected him and now he appears to be safe

I'm not sure what happened in other cities, but I think a dude was shot in DC.

They do shit like that because they wanna "trigger the cons" as it were and they think calling them cocksuckers is how you do it. It doesn't really work though and just makes them look hypocritical. Plus a lot of them, even the younger Millennials and Zoomers think that they're dealing with the 1980s religious right but they're almost entirely dead and gone at this point so they're effectively just barking at ghosts, they're are still plenty of religious conservatives as there likely always will be but the sway they once held on a federal level isn't quite there anymore.

As for innocent people? Most of the damage has been done in democratic strongholds. The residents there have asked for this to happen. Why should I go save people from their own bad choices? Let them figure stuff out. Its not my circus and not my barrel of monkeys.
