Another shit situation that the media is going to cause more trouble than necessary. Not a lot of data is given, but the dude resisted; which means the cops are going to get handsy. Then once they get you on the ground (which isn't going to be a comfortable fall), they're not gonna let you up because you're calling for help; because there's a chance the moment they let you up, you're gonna start fighting again. It'd be great if we lived in a world where people don't lie; but if there's a chance there's going to be a fight, it's safer for the suspect and the cops to keep you on the ground, otherwise someone is going to get hurt in another physical confrontration.
