Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

This whole shit with Vic's joke is a microcosm of what happened to him. A bunch of holier than thou jagoffs blatantly misinterpret a perfectly harmless event to tear Vic down and to make themselves look good. At best they come off as genuine autists who can't pick up on normal social cues and humor. At worst they come off like complete shit bags who are intentionally being obtuse. This is the correct interpretation by the way.

And as many people have noted, these same jackasses have been praising the riots which have caused more to spread the kung flu than some nerd convention in Florida. And no, no matter how much they try and repeat it: the riots aren't peaceful and Florida is not the center of the virus.

If they're losing their shit over this, just wait until November 3rd.

It's refreshing to see that Vic is giving less and less fucks, and the people arrayed against him are getting saltier and saltier.

I also laugh that there are three faggots trying to admonish Vic, while the fourth is ugly enough to be a gay man, too.

Who knew the coronavirus was so woke. Respects BLM riots and doesn't spread from thousands of people all beating the shit out of each other with bloody weapons and tear gas and only spreads at weeb conventions and gyms.

Kudos for it not seeing race.
Don't worry, Kenosha Kyle was able to pick up on that and shot the infected Rosenbaum and Huber. At least Wisconsin is safe from WuFlu.

This is a highly edited commented so shit is being put in a spoiler.

I know, I know, but there's a reason to abuse the spoiler option here. Also, 90% of the posts have Manjaw replies to others. I didn't check her thread in a long while, but she's just as bad now isn't she?

I think I seen this guy on this thread before

Also, the Red Bard person wants to make a video on Vic, here's the YT channel. There may be an anti-Vic video soon.

Someone shared an Anime Boston story about Vic in Red Bard comment section. It's an 11 minute video, but as per the guy "it's not about what you think it is", this is an unlisted video btw:
This is a list of noticible shit that has happened since the drama right now

Don't know whether to laugh or get mad at the virtue signalling assholes on twitter right now. I think I choose to laugh at them. They're not worth it.

They're the worst hypocrites I've ever seen. Honestly, every normal person could see that.

Making a harmless joke about covid? Pure evil.
Wishing covid on somebody? Completely fine.
Gathering at a con to have a good time while respecting safety measures? Irresponsible, awful, evil.
Gathering for violent and murderous protests while completely ignoring safety measures? Brave, necessary, must be supported.
Joking about kids getting shot during school shootings? Super funny. You don't think it's funny? Can't take a joke?
Using your own dead relatives to bash someone making a joke? Brave and strong.

Again, every normal person can see these people for who they are from a mile away. Their support on twitter means nothing. Don't get mad at the internet, just laugh about them.

Go woke and be broke as they alway say.
Someone made an edited version of that image pointing out CN's hypocrisy.

Poor Gumball doesn't deserve to be lumped in with all those other shows. He belongs with all the older classics who aren't in this picture.

Also I refuse to believe TTG would be serious about anything. They'd probably beat the shit out of the protesters or be rioting themselves for fun.

What's interesting is that they have Mao Mao there and he's basically a police officer. I thought all cops were bad?? Plus most of the black characters there are made by white people.

You can say that about superheroes in general. What are superheroes but people who keep the peace with their superpowers. Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, Daredevil, they all beat the shit out of street criminals like robbers and drug dealers all the time which is basically a form of police brutality, yet they often get used as mouthpieces for weird agendas.

Basically if it's convenient for a series or character to be used for a narrative, they will regardless of the logistics behind it. That's why the Toonami promo uses a show like Dragonball to "fight racism" when the only black characters in Dragonball are hilarious racial stereotypes like Officer Black and Killa. And maybe Android 15 if you want to count him.
