Trump Enslavement Syndrome - Orange man good. /r/The_Donald and any public demonstration of rabid pro-Trump enthusiasm in spite of all reason.

If Texas goes blue, Trump is screwed in the election. I am not too optimistic that'll happen, but if it does, his chances of winning are very slim

On the other hand there's also fools who think California might go red because of the ludicrous mismanagement and high taxes/cost of living with little/no return but that's equally possible. I saw the TV at work and it stated that the current hurricane has been weakened into a tropical storm so it's not quite the apocalypse some people are hoping for.

Hurricanes happen all the time in that area anyway, especially Florida, and we all know about that place.

It's almost as embarrassing as having a reality TV personality/failed bankrupt businessman as president. Why Jim Crow Joe's wastrel son is even in the limelight is beyond me.

Trump is fat.

Turns out that overcooked steak with ketchup sure packs on the pounds.

Also, anything more than medium rare and I'm the fuck out of there. Seriously he's got an atrocious diet though. Then again Diet Coke and McDonald's are basically the average American diet so I guess he's got that whole "he relates to us average Joes" thing going for him.

better to eat disgusting steak than human babies

Ah, the secret ingredient in Soylent. But really I can't imagine it being much better than tire rubber.

The dude eats like shit but he's somehow going to outlive us all.

as long as creatures like ashley issacs continue to live on this planet, so too will people like donald trump.

These riots are working in the DNC's favor with Trump losing control and the hurricanes are about to hit Texas and be worse than katrina. They will make texas go blue.

I watched as Laura landed after being unable to sleep. While it didn't *exactly* hit Texas, it fucked over Louisiana enough that it does make you wonder.

I come in here looking for interesting, impactful, or novel anti-Trump takes and there just aren't any. Shit is weak, it's fucking boring. This parallels many other progressive dogmas where the arguments only make sense if you're using limited (if not revisionist) data or historical information, purposely ignoring or misinterpreting various events or sometimes human nature in general, or ignoring empiricism entirely. It's rehashed fantasy based on fragmentary evidence.

Based on your post history, if you want to circlejerk about Trump, the TDS thread is where you want to go.

It depends on how loosely we define “go red”, but as someone who lives in California (a red part of California at that), anyone who thinks CA would go any further right in the next ten years than maybe electing a centrist Republican governor again is an idiot of the highest order.

Also, I would disagree about mismanagement, I would say government management in California is no worse than too many other states, and far better than, say, New York State. The taxes and CoL here are ridiculous, though.

Edit: this isn’t directed at anyone in this thread, but I do have to say, I hate all of the bullshit about California that gets thrown around by the right. There are a lot of things that suck about this state, it’s not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s also not some communist hellhole either. And on related note, 40% of California identifies as Republican or right-leaning, which is roughly 15 million adults. It’s not like this state is literally entirely liberals.

Yeah attacking the media was also unheard of during the Obama administration, he never attacked the media at all, and the media never attacked him. People trusted the media as it should always be. Because the media is part of democracy.

Obeezy could have done himself a solid and ripped on the media a few times. the MSM was corrupt back then just like it is now, though, they certainly didn't bring to light Obama's civil rights violations the way they do Trump's tax law violations

Can anyone tell me what's so great about Trump? Like what has he accomplished? How is your life better now than in 2016? How can Trump's COVID response not be seen as anything other than absolutely disastrous? Don't tell me it's all China's fault because they're holding 1,000+ people pool parties in Wuhan now. So what's America's excuse?

It will be great that you could provide any evidence for your claims.

Why would you come here for "interesting, impactful, or novel anti-Trump takes"? If I had my way and people could stop politsperging in here this thread would be mostly gunts for trump.

If you're talking about Trump's COVID response, he was trying to shut down flights to China, was called racist for it, and then a bunch of Dem politicians said that it's not that bad and that everyone should go out and mingle and make sure the economy's going. Then they all shut it down because Trump said otherwise.

As for before the 19 hit, the economy was going gangbusters (a lot better than what Obama said it was going to be), at least 300 miles of wall had been built, and he was restricting H1B visas.

Closing off flights to China at that point would've done nothing. The virus was already here. It's closing the barn door after the bull has already left. He did absolutely nothing else to try and stop it, and it's resulted in 180k+ dead. Hell, he still is saying to not wear a mask. Although since you're an anti-masker, you probably like that.

Trump's response to covid is nothing but a huge failure, just like nearly everything else he has done.

The biggest impact of the Trump era is that its made the commitment level of the two sides to extreme action far higher. When i found out the shooter in those riots in Kenosha was 17 my reaction was 'what kind of 17 year old is so commited to politics that he gets a gun and takes part in politics? In the US.'.Yes it was common too common during the Civil war era, teens took part in lynchings but its been very unusual since the civil rights era to have teenagers be this commited to politics.Oddly enough no one seems to be disturbed by the fact that politisation is starting to impact kids.Kids are far more dangerous than adults because they can easily get too worked up on something. They can easily take it too far.Yet no one seems to be worried and no one seems to be asking the obvious question.Since when are militias in the US recruiting kids?Because there's no way he wasn't affiliated with some group.Politics is an old people habit. The moment youth are starting to get politicised that's a problem.

I don't get this China travel ban talking point, it's so fucking infantile. WOW, you mean to tell me Trump took the most basic measure? The one single procedure that every country does when another one has a pandemic, AND he didn't even do it in time? It's like being impressed when someone takes their burning hand off a stove. I love how people try and paint it as a bold and brave move because he was called racist. When has Donald Trump ever taken an opportunity not to be racist? It's so fucking funny to me how he keeps trying to make "China Virus" stick as a name. Nobody calls it that and whenever he does it's so obvious what he's trying to do, it's pathetic. Very cringe!

Well, it is a virus from China, so . . . There were also some other things going on then, like the impeachment arc and how China was literally walling off apartment blocks.

You also should ask yourself what kind of man is going to go up, assault said teenager and yell SHOOT ME NIGGA and another man calling himself a "paramedic" is somehow armed himself and draws on someone with a weapon like Kyle's...
