The salt in some of these videos is so glorious. This dumb motherfucker can’t even get the name right “Kyle Rittenberg.” He also says that Rittenhouse is getting defended by the media, which is laughable. “Imagine if this had been a black 17 year old” I can’t imagine a black 17 year old managing to hit only their aggressors when shooting at someone. The only individuals black gunman seem to hit are small children on a playground or in their bed that are a hundred feet away from their intended target.
Has anyone noticed the lefts dumb af talking points?
1. He transported a gun across state lines.
Not only is this not true, it’s also irrelevant and shows a complete lack of understanding of rural life. There’s nothing sinister about transporting a firearm across state lines.
2. He shouldn’t have been there.
I think most people would agree it wasn’t a good idea for him to be there, but that’s irrelevant to this case. Being somewhere that’s a bad idea from a safety perspective doesn’t mean you give up your right to self defense.
3. He wasn’t old enough to open carry or possess a long gun.
Attorneys generally agree that a law allowing 16-17 year olds to open carry a gun (which was intended for hunting purposes but obviously doesn’t cover only those) makes it legal for Rittenhouse to possess and carry this gun as its barrel length was 12 inches or greater. Even if this was illegal, none of the people who attacked him had any legal right to do so as he was clearly retreating and attempting to avoid them. The law doesn’t just say “you did something wrong, therefore anyone can attack you with deadly force.” Rittenhouse did nothing threatening prior to Rosenbaum attempting to take his weapon (which as a felon was illegal under all circumstances for Rosenbaum to attack to possess).
4. Rittenhouse *gasp* hit a woman when she was fighting with his sister and he therefore is a murderer.
This has nothing to do with the case and will not be allowed as evidence by a judge as it’s prejudicial and completely unrelated to the incident. Additionally, the women hitting his sister kept coming at her and was clearly the aggressor. These are also a bunch of high school kids getting in a fight, like a good percentage of high school kids do. Rittenhouse then gets jumped by 3 grown-ass men in their 20’s and beaten on the ground (one of whom is currently out on bail for a domestic violence charge and previously had a felony child abuse charge).
