I've written this before but the COVID-19 coronavirus (like the common cold and good 'ol flu) is just that, a virus. It's in the wild and there's no reeling it back in.
Wearing a mask is a good idea, especially if you're not feeling well; mandating masks is a nanny state tyranny.
Virtual gatherings is a good and safer way to make contact with people. Forbidding parties, luncheons, conventions and yes, protests oppresses our God given right to gather.
Forbidding people the right to come together in worship is Rome all over again save for the Sunday lion's club meetings.
Telling people they can't earn a living is the epitome of tyranny. The virus can't be stopped. At this point in the game, the H1N1 pandemic killed twice as many people as COVID-19 but there were no masks, the world kept working and some died, many more lived.
We are being groomed (boiling frog analogy) to accept the "new normal" and surrender our lives, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; taking the responsibility for our own actions.
I refuse to curse them, but I would hate to stand before God and answer for the vitriolic, divisive and evil words these assholes have written/spoken.
@Random Internet Person , you are right. They are (or should be) free to gather as they see fit. Whatever happened to the concept of assumed risk? Whatever happened to treating people as people, regardless of your differences?
I know, I know... go ahead with the autism flags.
