Most of the riot graffiti is absolute shit but I imagine most rioters would probably only carry a single (or two) writing tool. He has two cans of spray paint, what looks like 4-5 markers, a GLOVE and a blunt object which can help breaking into areas. Definitely looks like what you'd find in an average graffiti writers bag.

Lots of standard "we don't stand for violence" rhetoric. But he explicitly blamed Trump and the people in the caravan for coming to incite violence. Absolutely disgusting. This guy is victim blaming the victim for being shot while his corporate DA makes noises that they'll follow the law in this case. What that means, exactly, is up in the air. Wheeler claims he's asked for the NG and Kate Brown denied it. Says he believes the departments have been "successful in collaborating" so far without the NG, which is absolutely horse shit. This guy needs to jump off a cliff in Minecraft.

Edit: The police commissioner (or whatever his title is) claims they only had 30 officers available Saturday night. How in God's name do they think defunding the police is a worthwhile goal when it leads to having only 30 officers present to keep peace between hundreds of pro-Trump caravaners and hundreds of black bloc antifa spergs? I used to think the police were the politicized victims in Portland, but they're so pozzed they won't even call out how Wheeler and the city council is destroying their community.

Edit 3: Now Wheeler is complaining about Trump's mean tweets. Asking how it helps anyone. Well, I think he's missed the point. Most people consider them working together, which is what Wheeler is calling for, as Portland accepting federal help—something which has been offered multiple times publicly. I really have no clue what "working together" means outside of a rhetorical context since Wheeler refuses to push for federal aid. Claims he thinks every day "Am I doing all I possibly can for the community" but I guess calling the feds to take over securing the streets is not a possibility...which is why Trump resorts to ridicule. Pretty simple in my view.

Edit 4: DA Mike Schmidt: "We are prioritizing the resources of the DA office to focus on violent crime" except they haven't charged any violent rioter with anything that sticks. God, these people want their community to fail. This is so mealy mouthed. "We are looking to see where the law has been broken" then says a bunch of time consuming things that are "underway" for a prosecutable case. I doubt it.

Edit 5: "Even our police doesn't have enough facts [to determine what retribution would be aimed at]." Again, 4CHAN ANALYZED THE FACTS AND IDENTIFIED THE INDIVIDUAL. Why are your police just talking to witnesses and trying to find "extra" film footage? There is enough that is compiled on this very thread to identify the murder as a murder and to identify the perpetrator by name/tattoo.

On behalf of the City of Portland: No thanks.

We don’t need your politics of division and demagoguery. Portlanders are onto you. We have already
seen your reckless disregard for human life in your bumbling response to the COVID pandemic. And we
know you’ve reached the conclusion that images of violence or vandalism are your only ticket to

There is no place for looting, arson, or vandalism in our city. There is no room here for racist violence or
those who wish to bring their ideology of hate into our community. Those who commit criminal acts will

our broken criminal justice system. They are part of the proud progressive tradition of Portlanders

When you sent the Feds to Portland last month, you made the situation far worse. Your offer to repeat

It's insane to me that the national Democrat party can't do the math on this one. Is it really that hard to quietly tell Wheeler and/or Kemp to take a sac bunt by allowing federal aid and then continue to "oppose" Trump sending federal help in? The obvious goal about a month or 2 ago should have been to end the riots which are finally waking people up to the fact that you're literally evil but at the same time continue to frame the rioters as heroes and Trump as a fascist dictator.

Use the media to spin the Federalized National Guard and law enforcement restoring order with minimal force as abusing "peaceful protesters." Your base and all the low IQ special identity groups will buy it wholesale. This also ends the rioting which is obviously gone past firing up the base and is becoming damaging to you. You only had to sacrifice Kemp and or Wheeler, who could easily be disavowed by DNC national immediately afterwords.

Frankly, it's probably too late to use this obvious tactic now because while the good people are still sleeping, they're starting to do so with one eye open.

If the primary debates and impeachment hearings was Democrats doubling down on their 2016 platform, this is them going all in on it. I will say this because it's generic enough to not be a powerlevel.

Prior to 2020, I was one of those guys that never owned a gun because I was 100% convinced I'd be more likely to shoot myself with it than an actual intruder.

Now, well probably not right now but in a couple of years, I will probably get a gun safe and at least have a few sessions at a gun range just so I know how handguns work.
