As mentioned by @heyitsmike, all 3 sides of the DNC are gonna try and play the blame game -- the Neo-Libs are gonna blame the Progressives, the Progressives are gonna blame the Neo-Libs, and the liberals will blame whomever MSNBC tells them to blame (Russia and Voter Fraud, probably).

In a perfect world, the Neo-Libs will cut off the DSA (and their front organization, the Justice Dems), the DSA will start trying to run third party or will start primarying a bunch of of the DNC. If the institutional Left fragments in some major way, then the GOP will have national control over the US for the next 30+ years and we can finally start undoing some of the damage they've done since the 60s. Hell, if Trump stays in, we'll probably have Conservative majority courts in the US for decades, including the SCOTUS -- which will absolutely stop the radical left's agendas.

The DSA will probably be forced to cut ties with the DNC and I think if Trump wins 2020, the neoliberals in charge will do everything they can to depower and disenfranchise the leftists as much as possible.

I'm not sure how successful their efforts will be if Trump wins the election. I think the DNC will do everything in their power to finally castrate the DemSocs if Biden loses the election (and even if he wins, considering Kamala's still the VP) since the neoliberals in charge of the party will then know the leftists will be gunning for them and will throw them under the bus as much as they can get away with to make sure The Squad doesn't get any bigger than it already has.

Even if Biden wins. AOC is going to be purged from the party via gerrymandering her district out of existence at the very least. Between her constant gaffes even for an SJW, her increasingly bad enmity with Pelosi, and the recent stunt at this year's DNC, I doubt she will keep her office after 2022.

I cannot believe the media has devolved into this sorry a state. I mean, advocacy media has always existed, and the mainstream has been liberal for a long time. Anyone paying attention can tell they always want Democrats to win.

But to completely remove the mask of feigned objectivity is really a sight to behold. Do any of them lose any sleep at all over their "profession"? Any of them? I honestly never thought I'd see this in my lifetime.

Can confirm this. I have been unironically told, multiple times, by such types that "Biden is a conservative candidate". If you consider Biden/Harris to be a conservative ticket, then any actual conservatives seem so far off to the right that they're Nazis by comparison.

Some of this is a problem with the concept of left/right itself. People abused the labels decades ago, and over the last decade the concept got twisted on top of the existing distortion. And some of this is a basic problem that American and European politics can't be directly compared, even though it's tempting to because they are both nominally Western democratic countries with some shared ideologies. The American far left is so intellectually defunct, it's borrowing concepts from the European left, center, and right.

But that's a whole other topic to rant about.

I think the media FINALLY figured out that even black people hate Harris, and so they are using Kenosha and Portland to take her out of the spotlight the same way Biden is hiding.

The NY state legislature actually approved a change to their redistricting procedures to take effect for the2020 process. Previously redistricting was solely the responsibility of the state legislature. Now it is controlled by a 10 person commission. Two commissioners are chosen by the minor and majority party leaders in both their house and senate. The final two are chosen by the 8 commissioners themselves. Going to take more dirty deals to get things done, but it's no means clean.
