Officer-involved shooting under investigation in Kenosha

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58 ) -- An officer-involved shooting investigation is underway in Kenosha on Sunday, Aug. 23.

The shooting happened near 28th Avenue and 40th Street around 5:11 p.m., after officers were called for a "domestic incident."

According to police, officers provided immediate aid to the person. They were transported via Flight for Life to Froedtert in Milwaukee for treatment. The person is in serious condition.

A large crowd gathered near the scene following the shooting.

Kenosha Sheriff’s Department and Wisconsin State Patrol were requested immediately so that the scene could be turned over to an agency other than Kenosha police.

The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ), Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) will handle the investigation.

Damn Neil. We knew by your name you had terrible taste in movies.
take that back, Breen is sacrosanct
Self defense should be normalized, and glorified. God made Man, Sam Colt made Man equal.

Kyle didn't kill any innocent people when he defended his life.
Of course the people he killed weren't saints. By innocent people, I mean the trump guy counterprotester who got killed by some random antifag. Have enough Sam Colts out there and you'll have an equal amount of Men dead on the ground.
The cops/swat/national guard should be the ones to sit Men down and stop them from burning buildings and shooting each other dead.
And they did. https://nypost.com/2020/08/31/trump-there-would-be-no-kenosha-if-not-for-national-guard/

The girl who allegedly slapped the sister was walking back and away from the group while they were cussing her out. The sister/girl with the coat started getting physical, shoving and screaming at her when the girl was trying to get away.

What the three man posse who followed her could've done was separate the two and get Kyle's sister, why keep beating her down to the ground with two of your buddies? The three of them easily could've deescalated the situation but instead they went into to fight.

Try and tell the cops that you and two of your buddies outnumbered and beat some chick because she slapped your sister. It's a little sissy slap fight between teenaged girls, why the fuck are three men getting involved at all to agitate and gang up on one of them instead of break it up?

Watching the video I can't tell what really was going on. Seems like one of those situations where everyone can dream up whatever they want as having occurred given the lack of sound or video of what happened before and after.

But... he was asked to defend it. By the business owner. And you keep saying "cross state" like the kid lived more than 30 minutes away, which basically translates to "right next door" in rural areas.

Do you think Neil will defend Ahmad Arbury "jogging" 30 minutes from home in Timberlands, while crying about Kyle going to the town he works in, participating in volunteer cleanup, and then being forced to defend himself from felon adults again?

I'm looking forward to Neil getting his own containment thread, just like the Philipedo.

There is a town not far from where i grew up..that did not have a Movie Theater, the closest one was in another town..about 30 minutes away by car.

Faggots who live in "Big Cities" have no actual clue how distances in non city life works, at least 30% of the people I work with drive "30 minutes" to get to work.

The point is lethal violence during shit like this should never be normalized or glorified, otherwise innocent people can get killed.

That's more or less what happened here. A bunch of pantifa fuckwads thought it was a great idea to just murder some guy. Unfortunately for them he defended himself.

You could not pay me enough to live in the city I work in. I don't mind the 45 minute drive just because I have some small peace of mind that my house won't be broken into while I'm at work.

This is a genuine question, not shitposting...mostly.

I do not think he had any businesses being in Kenosha at 17 and not directly defending his life and property. This has nothing to do with the fact he did society a favor in removing three utter dregs, but rather the first rule of self-defense Is to not get yourself in such a situation in the first place. He played stupid games and won stupid prizes. I think it was 100% self-defense and justified. Rather why was he there in the first place as a minor?

Neg rate me, but genuinely curious.

Some guy was about to get a concussion from being hit in the face with a skateboard while businesses were burning up in flames.

I agree with you @Zwiebelkönigin. Even if it was true that Kyle was only trying to put out a fire, I believe there was no need to carry an assault rifle. This situation only proves how poisonous the concept of right-wing activism is right now.

Well assault rifle is a loldefinition. My state says any semi-auto is assault and I got a .22 long rifle semi.

I just think he never should have been there, same with the rest that got schooled in why you should not attack a dude with an AR-15 that night.

I think he had a right to carry a gun, just to keep himself safe at the riots which are quite dangerous. If he wants to help out his community he was well within his rights to be there. I don't believe it was his fault he had to shoot these people. Again, the fact that he was attacked, tried to escape, was chased down then had to shoot was kind of telling. Then again I am just a random person on the internet.

Not sure why people are surprised that a teenager with a 20in.-barreled AR-15 killed some communists, given that the AR-15 was literally designed with a 20in barrel for good ballistic effect when it was time for teenagers to kill communists.

Hero? I don't think so. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time. But he did rightfully defend himself during times of civil unrest. Now he's being crucified and acknowledged for it.

This one kid is a living manifest of people sick and tired of seeing their towns and such destroyed under no fault of their own. From my observation on that footage alone, he was attacked, he retaliated towards his attackers and left.

Yet through local government and media, rioters are granted immunity to burn, loot and harm anything that comes their way. That immunity is thankfully starting to run out.

More of a martyr, for no other reason then he was the first civilian to kill members of the mob and if he gets sent to jail people will understand that you can no longer defend yourself.

The riots need to stop, government wont do shit, the mob will never be appeased and our politicians try stoke the fire of the rioters to cement themselves in power. The only people that can stop this is civilians Kyle is the first to do it, hopefully he won't be the last.

AR-15 I found effortless to shoot. As a woman with little firearms experience, I absolutely loved the weapon. However, why put yourself unnecessarily in a position?

Short answer: It's complicated.
Longer answer: He was not from the Kenosha, but I believe he went to the range there. This may mean he had at least a few friends and wanted to help out, so he may have had a dog in the fight, or maybe he felt like he wanted to help out. I am fairly sure he didn't go to play a rousing round of Shoot The Nigger; just swagger with a gun and act like a tough guy. That being said, when shit hit the fan, he kept his head and did what he had to do to survive, so kudos to him there. Still, the poor kid has to live with the knowledge he killed a man; it's not something most people can do, even if it was done in self defense.
Something I think we can all agree on, though, is that the people he shot were complete bastards, and being their being shot was absolutely something they brought onto themselves.

Right, but I am not arguing a self-defense angle, rather, if he should have been there at all. I mean I would not send my own minor into this world of far leftist shit. If they came to me, that is way different, but to cart out of the way is questionable in my mind.
