Also, notice how the only people who are "pissed off" about that joke either work for Funimation or are friends with people from Funimation. Meanwhile, if I'm not mistaken, even many of the most fervent anti-Trump voice actors outside of the company don't seem to care. I guarantee that if someone like Alex Moore had a doll made after her, she'd be happy. But because it's Vic and not her or even any of her friends, her disdain for this "trash" translates to "Why wasn't a doll made after me?"
I still can't believe this Pop is a real thing, it's such a weird idea...
But if it is, I have to say that any voice actor who tries to shit on it, and wants it to fail, is a shortsighted idiot.
Let's take a look at the possible outcomes:
- This Pop doesn't work, Vic doesn't get money, petty voice actors are happy with themselve, but... Funko Pop concludes the "VA line" doesn't sell and never make another one.
- This Pop sells a lot, Vic gets money, Funko Pop concludes the "VA line" is worth something and starts making more of those VA Pops.
If Moore, whoever she might be (I guess a VA), wants her own Pop, she'd better not advocate against the first one attempted.
But hey, we've been following this for a year an a half now, it's not like those people have shown any ability to ever see the bigger picture...
