Furry Fandom and Drama General

Wouldn't the harkness test still apply if xeno life exists that happens to be of that 'center of gravity' but otherwise fits the criteria?
The only thing the Harkness test cares about is are they sentient, of age, and are willing to fuck. They could be on all legs, two legs, no legs. If they're able to say yes to "Are you old enough?" and "Do you want to bone" then the Harkness test says ye.

Ok, so if that's the case... Wouldn't that make them (these furries) puritanical kink shamers in their own right? I mean tehnically that makes them hypocrites under that action, witholding moral and legal arguments of course.

Much like normalfags who 'kink shame' furries.

People who are sliding into the abyss love to point out people who have sunk lower than they have, to prove to themselves that they still have the moral high ground.

Remember that the zoosadism leaks happened because one group of dogfuckers was trying to posture themselves as “the good ones.” I wouldn’t be surprised if the guys who leaked that shit are now doing the same shit.

tbh, most furries deserve and need to be kink shamed.

Hello,

We have heard you, and we are still listening! While we understand the issue at hand regarding a political stance on our website, things are still being worked upon.
Reports are still being reviewed, a lot is still being considered, and we're doing our best with what we can until we have more staff on our team. This does not mean we're turning a blind eye or are attempting to ignore the situation at hand, however.

It has also been brought to our attention that users are claiming that we're warning others for making political claims such as "bash the fash", etc.
As been noted among our staff so far, none of this is true. We have not warned any users based on these comments. Please refrain from spreading misinformation or making such claims in order to start a fight or to spread drama. This will not be tolerated on the website, and making such claims will result in consequences. If any users are noted to be making outrageous claims against Staff in this manner, please do not hesitate to notify us through either the Report System, or PMs.

Edit: JANNY, SHUT IT DOWN! (again, server error on archive)

A thonk provocking question. If somebody wants to make cartoony animal drawings (without all that gore and God knows what), but doesn't want to get it labelled as furry art, then what shall he/she do?
Let's see, here are my suggestions, drawn from observing artists in the wild:
  1. Avoid making accounts on furry websites. No FurAffinity, no Inkbunny, no Weasyl. Stick to Instagram, DeviantArt and/or Twitter.
  2. Do not under any circumstances draw cartoon animal porn. Even Lola Bunny in a suggestive pose is already pushing your luck.
  3. Don't go by an animal username. "CuteWolfy04" will get you tagged as furry. "AndyLikesDrawing" is safer.
  4. Draw more than just cartoon animals. Mix in some cartoon humans or cartoon fantasy races.
  5. Advertise yourself in non-furry communities. Disney fandoms can work if you're very careful. Otherwise, worldbuilding and character design communities should work well.
  6. Don't pander to furries, SJWs or LGBTQABBQWTF++++++.
And even with all that, an artist could still get pegged as furry. It's just a risk you face drawing cartoon animals.
