Holy fucking shit:

Leaked DMs from the leaders of BLM show that they are TRYING to get Trump to declare Martial Law to stop the election. This has been their plan from the start! What the actual fuck.

It really does feel like a perfect storm of mass unemployment and requirements on everyone to wear masks (thus hiding their identities).

Then again, I doubt most of these people had jobs even in January.
What? You're telling me it's the dredges of society (pedos and thieves) that would have reason to want to overthrow the people that keeps them from being dredges out in the open?

The real shit of all this is that if you truly wanted to improve race relations in the western world, this probably has set that shit back by decades. When this fucking year started, I was interally moderate as hell who put on the outward appearance (when needed) of being liberal and woke so that I didn't get cancelled, but after all the bullshit they've pulled this year I find myself internally agreeing more and more with the nazi posters here. The left and their chimpouts is gradually radicalizing me to the right, it's almost ironic.

When the chimpouts and protests started, I thought they would have used that as their little hidden way of brushing away all the covid lockdown bullshit, but instead they doubled down on the doublethink and are trying to justify businesses and people not being able to go to the gym or church or work but they're allowed to gather en masse in the downtown and commit as many crimes as they want.

I'm sure I am not the only person who's been pushed all the way to the right by this bullshit.

TLDR:

It could just be you being on KF, specifically on boards like A&H. A lot of this stuff isn't talked about or even noted by most.

There's a big difference between some alt-right manlet calling a black guy the n word and a white guy calling someone white trash
I know this is several months late, but I'm looking through the early posts and figured I'd respond.
From the point of view of a goblina with loved ones of nearly every color: slurs are not a big a deal lol.

People (usually minorities) who get triggered by words without looking at context are the kind of people who never question their emotions. It's small brain energy, imo.

I'm just shocked that my friends, many of whom I believed to be intelligent, find no coincidence that every single BLM marytr I'm supposed to care about are convicted felons.

Like seriously, what are the odds that all three men Kyle shot were convicted felons?

Instead they just counter "they didn't have to be killed because they were felons!" That's not the point I'm making, dumbass.

Well they cant fold on the riots now and look like pussies, all those spergs they unleashed would turn on them for betraying the revolution. Trump didnt take the bait and now they've got nothing but being locked into helping him get re elected.

Don't let this situation go to waste. These times are the line in the sand between the people who actually think and the NPCs. NPCs can be smart in their given context but when times get like this it's like a calculator being tasked to correct your grammar.

To be fair, there's so many saints both official and unofficial, pretty much everybody is named after one, often by accident. My Catholic mom was once looking at the calendar of saints in church, and she noted "Feast of Saint Dymphna, patron saint of the nervous system." She immediately quipped, "Where the hell did they dig her up?" 😄

I distanced myself from discussing any of this or seeing any of what people I know irl think about this months ago because of this. They don't care about the reality, they care about the story that can be spun. They're arguing from the perspective of proving what they want to be true, to be true. Those people aren't going to turn back around and change their minds this late into the game.

We're all losing friends because of this, and as much as it sucks, oh well. I won't debate the merits a convicted sex offender has and how they could turn their lives around at any moment, only to be brutally shot down in the streets by a vicious (brown) white nationalist, because it's fantasy. It's literally a bunch of hypothetical concepts strung together into a political stance.

What is the left counter argument to this, if any at all? That they were wrongfully convicted? That the laws are inherently unequal/racist/a social construct blah blah, therefore their convictions are meaningless? That it's none of the public's business what felonies they may or may not have committed in the past?
I haven't seen any kind of rebuttal, but maybe I missed it.

No, their rebuttal is just that vigilantism is wrong. They don't deny the convictions; they just say that they are irrelevant.

The new thing going on observing my Facebook feed is that apparently Kyle killing the second and third men doesn't count as self-defense because he killed the first guy in cold blood. You can't claim self-defense in the process of committing a crime.

The counter from them is pretty much this.

She does realize she looks white, right? If they go based on skin color, she’s going to be murdered with rest of us whiteys.

I’m always amazed when someone who is white or looks white says “let’s do white genocide!” Do they really think they’ll be spared just because they said they’re down with killing white people?

Yes, they don't seem to understand the situation.

But then again, maybe the White Guilt is so ingrained into their being. They want to be lined up and shot.
