Take Seattle and Portland. From looking at the map there are a few roads which go through mountains. If there was a major rock slide then that one avenue of supply to the city is cut off. I guess if done right such an incident can be made to look like an accident.

I think people get the same misconception about NYC. NYC is so far away from western NY, that if you lived in Buffalo, there are major Canadian cities closer than NYC.

Buffalo to Toronto: 1 hr, 39 minutes (by car)
Buffalo to Ottawa: 5 hr, 22 minutes
Buffalo to Montreal: 6 hr, 23 minutes
Buffalo to NYC: 6 hr, 27 minutes

Not a powerlevel by the way. Buffalo is just the furthest known city from NYC while still in NY state.

Portland is in the middle of the northern BORDER of the state. I was in the south and every time Portland so much as sneezed they expected the rest of the state to come running with tissues and ass pats.

Yet they get fucking catered to like nobody's business.

I know a lot of people left after the bullshit two years ago involving the Republican walk-out. Not to mention that Portland decided single family dwellings were white supremacy and the reason they couldn't get decent housing, so they made that illegal.
