Next to "I love the NHS posters" It's so bizarre as I see a black person about once every few weeks. Saw some thot jogging with something pinned to her back, I thought it was a number from a race or something. Nope! blm written in marker pen on what looked like an old t-shirt she'd cut up. That was when the statues being pulled down was very in vogue in the UK. That seems to have slowed down and I am watching friends and family slowly winding down their support of this shit (they tell me in secret for fear of being cancelled but it's moving in that direction) Yeah, yeah rainbows aplenty.

There was someone in my town who had a BLM poster in her window too, and I live in a place with literally no black people. Our town's diversity consists of two Chinese families and a bunch of Turkish guys who run a local takeaway.

She was widely mocked for it though so it didn't stay up long.

Over the weekend I was with friends and the riots inevitably came up. Being someone who has a very cynical and dry sense of humor, I stated that it was okay because antifa stood for "anti fascist". No one in my friend group knew that. Not a one knew that antifa was short for anti-fascist.

My friend group involves immigrants and first gen Americans, some of which ESCAPED fascism as young children.

Now, clearly, everyone in my friend group is against the riots. They felt bad for floyd when that first went down and we didn't have a lot of info. Most feel like if you're against the police, you should lose the privilege of being able to call the police and emergency services.
