U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

Portland: the protest will be small, if there's one at all.

lol "26 layers of kevlar wrapped in tape" is not level IIIA. It may stop some handgun rounds, but odds are it probably won't because you didn't pack it nearly tight enough. There's a reason that the feds come in and spend months shooting up your body armor product in order for it to get certified

unless this person is paying thousands of dollars for hesco 4401s, they're either going to die to spall from their steel plates or pass out after walking a mile and a half due to the 20lbs+ of added weight from their inch and a half ceramics

What a cuck.

So he's running away again, this time for good? No wonder Antifa hates him too, even if he's giving them 99% of what they want it's impossible to have any kind of respect for this acquiescent soy-filled shell of a man.

Anti-fascist counter-demonstrators cross the Burnside Bridge across the Willamette River from the west side of the city to the east side in search of the far-right group, the Proud Boys, in Portland, Ore., Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019. Self-described anti-fascists vowed to confront the rally while leaders from the far right urged their followers to turn out in large numbers to protest the arrests of multiple members of right-wing groups in the run-up to the event. Some on the left and in media (forgive the redundancy) are fond of denying the involvement of Antifa folks being behind the BLM riot violence.
There are, of course, a lot of things to refute this. But if you see anyone pushing that nonsense, send them this story.

According to WBay, the police in Green Bay, Wisconsin were called because of a report of “a whole bunch of white people with sticks, baseball bats and helmets headed… towards the police.” They were headed to a BLM demonstration. Naturally the police chief, Andrew Smith, viewed having bats a little askance. “I don’t know who comes to a protest with a baseball bat for anything other than criminal or illegal activity,” he said.
Police saw the people including a man wearing a metal helmet with goggles and military-style gear with multiple pouches, carrying an Antifa flag.
When the police pulled up, they all ran, but the police caught 23 year old Matthew Banta who was carrying the flag. They said when they caught him, he “dropped into the fetal position and began crying.”

How on target is that? Antifa, tough guys until caught, then little babies.
Banta allegedly also had a flamethrower, smoke grenades and fireworks, according to police and prosecutors.
He was charged with obstructing an officer and two counts of felony bail jumping.
According to the complaint, Banta “is known to be a violent Antifa member who incites violence in otherwise relatively peaceful protests.” Police say he’s known as “Commander Red.”
Banta denied that he was going to cause trouble but he actually had a prior arrest earlier in the month.
Banta is accused in Waupaca County of pointing a loaded gun at a police officer and biting and kicking an officer during a protest earlier this month. He’s charged there with second-degree recklessly endangering safety and four other charges (see related story). He posted a $10,000 cash bond. A condition of his bond was that he can’t have a dangerous weapon, according to the Brown County district attorney’s office.
“It’s worrisome when people associated with Antifa come here to Green Bay from out of town for the purpose of protesting here or for the purposes of committing violent acts,” said Chief Smith.
He allegedly had a loaded rifle in the prior incident and allegedly started to raise it toward the officer before he was taken down. Police also said he had a knife. He was bailed out from that which gave him the opportunity to be out for this new incident.
Given this and the prior charges, looks like “Commander Red” the Crying Antifa may be looking at some time, if convicted.
When asked about people inciting violence, the local Black Lives United group said that they saw rioting as “reinforcing the state of emergency we are in.”
“BLU is not discouraged by the way folks are grieving…we are in this together. We don’t see rioting as taking away from our message because it actually reinforces the state of emergency that we are in. Folks out in the streets screaming #BlackLivesMatter and their names – we see you and the risk you are taking on behalf of all of us. We honor the lives of Black people taken from us by law enforcement. We say their names and continue to hold our government, elected officials, allies and adversaries accountable to these murders and attempted murders until there are policies passed that uplift Black folks and invest in our communities. We will eradicate white supremacy. We will build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by state and vigilantes. It is our duty,” reads a statement from the group.
Sure doesn’t sound like a condemnation, does it?

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - A Neenah man had a flamethrower, smoke grenades and fireworks during a demonstration in Green Bay Saturday night, according to police and prosecutors.
Matthew Banta, 23, is charged with obstructing an officer and two counts of felony bail jumping.
The criminal complaint says Banta “is known to be a violent Antifa member who incites violence in otherwise relatively peaceful protests.” Police say he’s known as “Commander Red.”
Green Bay police say they were called for “a whole bunch of white people with sticks, baseball bats and helmets headed... towards the police” on Walnut St. near Webster Ave.
“I don’t know who comes to a protest with a baseball bat for anything other than criminal or illegal activity,” said Green Bay Police Chief Andrew Smith.
A responding officer says he saw four individuals walking towards a protest with baseball bats. One man was wearing a metal helmet with goggles and military-style gear with multiple pouches, and was carrying an Antifa flag. When the officer pulled his squad car in front of the group, they ran away. The officer caught Banta, who was carrying the flag, and says Banta “dropped into the fetal position and began crying.” He accused the officer of lying on him; the officer replied nobody was on him.
Banta acknowledged he was headed to the Green Bay protest but denied he was planning to incite a riot.
A Brown County Court Commissioner set a $2,500 cash bond during his initial appearance on Monday.
Three others were caught trying to get into a house on Walnut Street. The person inside wouldn’t let them in and told officers they didn’t know who the people were. The three dropped what was in their hands. One told an officer they were bringing them to the protest for self-defense.

“It’s worrisome when people associated with Antifa come here to Green Bay from out of town for the purpose of protesting here or for the purposes of committing violent acts,” said Chief Smith.
Police arrested 15 individuals total on Saturday after a Black Lives Matter protest took a turn and police deemed it unlawful.
“An unlawful assembly is three or more people who gather in such a manner where property damage, or personal injury is likely to occur. We determined this was happening on Washington Street. What was happening was a large group of people had blocked traffic on the street had engaged in throwing a bottle at somebody, were pulling up manhole covers off the street and were blocking traffic,” said Chief Smith.
Police have helped facilitate a number of peaceful protests over the summer.
Action 2 News asked members of Black Lives United-Green Bay (BLU), a community group with a mission to unite folks of color and allies, if they are discouraged when others use otherwise peaceful protests as a way to incite violence.
“BLU is not discouraged by the way folks are grieving...we are in this together. Black Lives United canceled a weekend march in Green Bay due to the overwhelming amount of events that took place since Jacob Blake was shot in the back seven times by a Kenosha Police Officer on August 23. The group is taking this time “to rest and make plans to mobilize around the continued police brutality happening to our brothers and sisters.”

It's amazing how many of them are repeatedly arrested and immediately released, isn't it? All those DAs and mayors being totally complicit.

Why.... why do they make up such transparent lies?

Because their echo chamber believes them without question and they get asspats.

They can't hold an argument in the rare event they come across someone from outside the chamber who disagrees with them and will either immediately go into verbal attack mode or ghost.

Just yesterday I caught one of them spreading BS claiming that Kyle walked up to red shirt guy and shot him in the head out of nowhere...in a thread that was about a compilation of all the footage that included red shirt chasing him down. The dude unironically (and redundantly) linked me the video the thread was about and when I did a play by play with timestamps showing he was full of shit, he poofed.

These fuckers live in another reality.

Actually, I read through it and it doesn't specifically say anything about removing the Washington Monument. It did say "Remove, reallocate, or recontextualize", but there's a snowballs chance in hell that any of the big Monuments will be yeeted.

Conservatards clickbaiting and bootlicking.

"Please officer, gimme your delicious dummies"

"We decided to paint the Washington monument black and call it the BBC memorial LEL" - Twitter probably.

Well, if you're viewing it that way, it's been a total failure.

Their comms are compromised every few weeks. Their supply lines got taken out by cops in Kenosha and a tubby commander in DC. Physically, they failed to capture the federal courthouse after 2 months, lost CHAZ to some bike cops, and got BTFO in the streets by a teenage lifeguard. They do manage to shut down streets more than they should, until random Ethiopian immigrants swing by at 60 mph.

Every night we see the same thing: the protests are being allowed to continue. Cops are still using kid's gloves. DAs are refusing to prosecute. If anyone took the "insurrection" seriously, the switch would flip and they'd be shut down instantly.
They won't even get the benefit of veteran experience--the first people to be taken out would be the idiots who got arrested and doxed over the last 3 months. All the leaders on the megaphones, and the talkers on the front lines, have their face on streams, have been doxed, and can be scooped up.

The funding schemes worked, as did the NLG. But those were in place before BLM, and they can be replicated at will if you discard them. I think in the age of electronic money, funding is a given and not really an advantage for either side.

I do think the Democrats were trying to develop an armed wing of their party, like how the original Nazis and Soviets had back in 1933. But they don't have control over them. They can't control the chaos to get the optics they want, and they only have power within Democratic cities. I believe they'd be able to whip up a mob if they wanted to, but they have shown zero ability to direct the mob to useful gains.

If the Democrats, progressives, socialists, or whoever try to launch an actual insurrection after the election, they are going to get shut down hard. Both by the federal government, and by the sudden mass of new gun owners who are just itching to see an enemy mob provide a target-rich environment on a suburban road.

DSA yeah probably (them being Marxists and all), but not the Democrats as a whole no. The establishment dems just viewed them as a useful tool until the polls turned, since they thought they could be used to make Trump look bad.

It's an experimental script that they follow to throw the election while still remaining active enough to continue being a mainstream party. My objection to my own theory would be that this means they wanted Donald Trump around in the first place.

I've been trying to make sense of the idea some people have put forth "Trump is actually in the establishments pocket, this entire thing is just a massive economy destroying charade" If that's the case then Hillary should have won, and continued to erode civil liberties and engage in foreign "regime change" and you'd have the media telling you everything is fine.

Remember Obama? Everything was always great. Even when Ghaddafi was killed, even when Abu Gharib happened, it was like "oh yeah I suppose we shouldn't pile naked men on top of each other". Can you imagine such a thing today? Trump would likely have public support for impeachment to be perfectly reasonable.

He could if he wanted to. His legal representation would argue for a literalist reading of the Constitution which says that the United States can only have currency in gold and silver. The Constitution even says the proportion of gold to silver to be used.

Where? The only place the Constitution mentions gold or silver is Art. I, § 10, which specifies that "no STATE shall," among other things including coining money at all, "make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts[.]" Section 10 entirely consists of things states are forbidden to do.

Art. I, §8, which consists of explicit grants of authority to Congress, also gives Congress the powers:

"To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;
To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States[.]"

It doesn't prohibit Congress from establishing fiat money, but does protect the federal currency from issuing scrip in substitute of money and declaring it legal tender.

All it will take is Trump bragging that "I took down Antifa! I made the streets safe again!" and they will be right back out there showing their asses.

The only question is the timing with the election. Quiet until then? Does Trump wait to brag and trigger them until October, or 2 weeks before Election Day? If he wins, he's definitely going to credit his "victory over Antifa" for the win, and that's going to compound the post-election riots even worsel.

I've been wondering for a while now if the globalists will "go for it" or not, by which I mean full on dispute the election results, try to get military top brass on-side, basically try to create a "he's not legitimate" movement that full out refuses co-operation with the Federal Government, etc. Basically try to pull a coup. For a while I was of the view that they probably wouldn't but if the results were very close they might. Now I'm more and more leaning towards the belief that they're actually going to try it. The people at the top simply cannot countenance losing power. They've spent the entirety of Trump's first term trying to punish him for his victory. I think a second term they might really go full out.

Bill Hicks used to do this sketch about the Democrats and Republicans which ran: "hey wait a minute! It's one person holding up both puppets!". But that's not true anymore. You can like or dislike Trump but it's demonstrable from what has happened that he's an outsider to the powers that be. The only difference between the Democrats and the Republicans is that the Democrats were wholly suborned and the Republican leadership were suborned but not the general party. Trump spoke to the general party and took power. The RINO / NeverTrumpers are still there, though. Republican party needs to continue the process of getting rid of them.

Every deaf person I've know has been a fucking asshole. Little wonder they're drawn to antifa.

Ticking timebomb until someone on the Left touts how supportive they are of the "disabled" and that's going to be another internal war on the Left. Unique amongst all groups of disabled people (except some autists), they find disabled an offensive term.

An interpretation could be that coinage was presumed at that time to be legitimate only if gold or silver, and separate from paper issuance. I don't think any other metals were used as official currency until much later.

Edit: Sorry, copper was also used early on.

Now that I think of it, why would this circuitous method even be required? Why not just have BLM pass the donations to the DNC directly?
Because, BlackLivesMatter wants to look as apolitical as possible. Direct donations would show partisanship firstly and violate IRS guidelines surrounding 501(c)(3) tax exemptions.
Under the Internal Revenue Code, all section 501(c)(3) organizations are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office. Contributions to political campaign funds or public statements of position (verbal or written) made on behalf of the organization in favor of or in opposition to any candidate for public office clearly violate the prohibition against political campaign activity. Violating this prohibition may result in denial or revocation of tax-exempt status and the imposition of certain excise taxes.

Certain activities or expenditures may not be prohibited depending on the facts and circumstances. For example, certain voter education activities (including presenting public forums and publishing voter education guides) conducted in a non-partisan manner do not constitute prohibited political campaign activity. In addition, other activities intended to encourage people to participate in the electoral process, such as voter registration and get-out-the-vote drives, would not be prohibited political campaign activity if conducted in a non-partisan manner.

On the other hand, voter education or registration activities with evidence of bias that (a) would favor one candidate over another; (b) oppose a candidate in some manner; or (c) have the effect of favoring a candidate or group of candidates, will constitute prohibited participation or intervention.
The connections for BlackLivesMatter as a 501(c)(3) go all the way back to Thousand Currents making a initial grant to a nonprofit by the name "Black Lives Matter Global Foundation". There is a irrelative foundation named "Black Lives Matter Foundation" that's structured the same way, making this even more confusing.

"BLM Global Network Foundation" by itself is a organization that claims to be a "leaderful" movement, but the movement is so fractured that the only recurring theme between all the chapters is the message against capitalism.
The members of the above-described foundation are known to have communist bandits in their ranks, like May 19th member and former Weather Underground member Susan Rosenberg and it's co-founders Patrisse Cullors along with her other co-founder Alicia Garza, who were both found to have made a Medium article sympathizing with Fidel Castro and described themselves as "trained marxists" in a 2015 video interview.
They were also responsible for suggesting that people be let out of jail in response to COVID-19 and a campaign called "WhatMatters2020" to get black people to register to vote (likely for the democrat) in 2019.
BLM Global Network Foundation ownership was transferred over from Thousand Currents to Tides Foundation (a child of Tides Nexus) in 2020.
Tides Nexus and their connected 501(c)(3)s are all focused on political activism (mostly centre-left) and operating a pool of cash that people donate into so that the donator can split the charity at the donator's disctetion (they call it "Donator-Advised Funds" [DAFs]). The primary foundation they operate is Tides Inc. which is a nonprofit that manages a building in San-Fransisco (Tides Converge, formerly Thoreau Center for Sustainability) that is there to provide space to rent for centre-left nonprofits and other Tides-connected nonprofits. They're connected to the Tides Foundation, which is there to manage grants.

However, the funny thing about BlackLivesMatter is that all of the money they make is given away, making me either think that they're content with grants or taking donations or sponsorships isn't their intended goal.

Banta denied that he was going to cause trouble but he actually had a prior arrest earlier in the month.

We don’t see rioting as taking away from our message because it actually reinforces the state of emergency that we are in. Folks out in the streets screaming #BlackLivesMatter and their names - we see you and the risk you are taking on behalf of all of us.

Meet "Commander Red"

Pretty much what we expected.

You know what the media should absolutely do? Or Hell, even Tim Pool if we can get him out of his studio. Find and interview these people's parents.

Seriously, this would absolutely be a gold mine. I imagine they would be a mix of decent people who are just heart-broken and confused over how their kid turned out like this (hint: college); and those that you'd absolutely expect to be the parents of people like this.

100% this would be a tremendously powerful way of de-powering any glamour that Antifa has for some people.

BREAKING: DC Mayor Bowser's advisory board calls for removal of Washington Monument

View attachment 1564768

They can call for it as much as they want. The Washington Monument is on the National Mall which is part of the National Park Service. It's federal land, and the city has absolutely no control over it. But the fact that they are even talking about it is a sign of how far gone the left is.

Talk about a disconnect. I remember NTD reporting on the Chinese response to that Twitter post, that nation's netizens were posting on Weibo (in Chinese, shawk of all shawks) "I can't Tweet".
That weibo post references the fact that Twitter's blocked by the "Great Firewall" that all the citizenry's behind.
