There's that bizarre tribalism involving sexuality of all things. Matt's one of those people who would be as mundane as it gets if it were not for their grotesque sexuality, so it's predictable he'd ride that fact for all its worth. But it goes from predictable to just plain pathetic when he latches on to his pedophilia as a personality trait.

Saying that not being a pedophile is the same as pandering to straights is kind of insulting to gay people. Also I don't know about him being really mundane without his attraction to little boys. I will never forget Aggy's exceedingly distinctive nipples.
