I'm getting sick of cold and flooding. I might head back to Florida; no state income tax, warm weather all the time. Hurricanes, but, eh, whatever. At least unlike tornados I can see a hurricane coming for like a week before I have to do something.

You know what I love about all these pretend internet lawyers? They give themselves away when they try to do an analysis without actually reading any documents or watching all the videos. “Stand your ground” only means you don’t have a duty to retreat, it doesn’t mean you can chase after someone who isn’t an active threat to you and do some street justice.

Vermont started to go gun-grabber a couple years ago because a very scary teenage autist had plans to shoot up his school, which was used as the basis for limiting magazine size to 10 rounds, and done by a Republican governor. Vermont has also seen an enormous influx of liberal refugees from NYC in the wake of the virus and the riots, who are likely to have opinions on guns that would make Brits blush.

Holy shit. I made a comment in another thread about being poor because of living in a shit hole city. I now see why. People around here bitch about renting anything that’s more that $600 a month, and those are houses. Bit of a power level, but I only charge my renters $500 a month for a small 2 bedroom house, but they are expected to handle all the upkeep.
