Nothing's going to happen on September 22 anyway. If you look at cases with actual opinions, the last batch range from a bit under a month to several months between submitting them to the panel and a written opinion.

The cases decided nearly immediately were the appeal of an unappealable order in a criminal case and two dismissals for failure to pay the filing fee. The case with a substantive opinion delivered less than a month after submission was the same Sudderth/Womack/Wallach panel in Vic's case, so the decision could come down in a very speedy fashion by appeals court standards.

One other decision, before a Kerr/Womack/Wallach panel (filed last year with the panels from last year), is a TCPA decision:

It was submitted for decision 2/19/2020 and an opinion issued 8/6/2020, over five months afterwards. It is partially reversing, partially affirming, and remanding the case to the trial court for further proceedings, a fairly likely outcome in this case.

Just an unimportant musing, but I honestly wonder if the appellate court will refer to Vic by his first name or as Mignogna. Mostly likely the latter, since that seems the proper thing, but imagine if they're so enamored with his gay pants they call him Vic instead of Appellant Mignogna.

I don't expect anything for 22nd Sept, only some vague reports about what was said, but for sure not a final judgement sentence! BT has so moved on I'm amazed! :story: :story:
If these VA have only fans like BT, then yes Brain Turd they do deserve them and ONLY them, as any other fans will likely move away when treated like a paypig and not as a person, but suuuure do keep thinking that supporting trash VAs and Funi+Crunchy is doing anything for the industry! If I want to support it, I buy indeed figures&other merchandise from official retailers or famous jp sites...rarely buy anime licensed even if here they're done pretty good most of the times with 0 bs like in the sad US industry. :lol:
