All kidding aside, we know from the Discord leaks that there's an untold story in there somewhere. On Twitter Jake likes to spin his situation as doing a Houdini out from under yon abuser under his own steam, but the...uh...not the true story I guess, but at least the less bullshit version he told his Discord pals indicates that it took place over the course of months and the process involved the entire local extended family.
It's a minor distinction, but the thing I wonder about, did Jake campaign for the move until she gave in, or did mom hit some kind of breaking point on her own and initiate the process?

The move came just after Donna's last Christmas, which might explain more extended family being around than usual. Jake had been talking about moving in January prior to that, though, so it wasn't a last minute thing.

I actually find him one of the creepiest of the Rat King. Sure, people like Timmy and Zach are gross, and they certainly have other significant issues, but at least they’re pretty open about being horny. Jake, meanwhile, goes the predatory route of pretending women are totally safe around him. Then, when he’s feeling particularly confident or randy, he’ll just drop hints like, “Well... maaaaaaybe... I might just be gay [straight]...” Or under the guise of “science” or “things we trans women have to put up with,” he’ll start droning on about his fantasies of everyone staring at his huge tits while he blushes and tries to cover himself up.
I think maybe Mommy presented him with some sort of ultimatum. If you transition, you have to move out or something.

If we take Jake at face value, he'd been on Magic Boob Pills for quite some time, and had the wigs and "F" on his ID for half a year, before moving out. Taking steps away from the coveted Zero Effort doesn't seem to have been a kick-out offense.

The "out by January" thing have been a thing at least one year prior to his move. Maybe him moving out in Jan. 2019 was just a coincidence because an apartment went up for rent, that makes me wonder what was presented to the landlord to prove that he could pay the rent.
A Patreon won't cut it, especially his at the time. Fortunately I still have my old document: December 31st 2018 he was at a $452 payout, the highest ever, January 31st 2019 he was at $376. I didn't put proper notes into the file so I'm not sure about this, but even at the end of 2019 the total income from his patreon was ~$7403 if all payouts at the end of the month went through and none were ever declined. I'm ignoring the last-day first-day slump so that number is the best case scenario.
