What's wrong with getting older?
I like the fine lines on my face. Those are my memories. I feel more confident in life now, my understanding and wisdom have grown exponentially. Many of my dreams have been fulfilled: (a) have a large homeschooling family and (b) find out who I am, pick a major and (c) graduate college and (d) have 2 daughters. In my early 20s I had all these unfulfilled dreams, now they are realized. That is better than being in your 20s, having not achieved your goals yet because you aren't old enough yet to fulfill them. Accomplishment is better than youth.
Hey, like I said before, aging is the trade off when you don't use birth control. Getting older means I am retiring my uterus within the next 6 to 15 years. I've been pregnant or breastfeeding for almost 15 years now. It's hard work. I'm satisfied as a woman, but eventually I would like to not be able to get pregnant anymore so I can build my career and travel more.
I am thinking that I should probably hit menopause in about 6 years at the earliest, around 41. The latest I've heard is 51 for American (USA) women, but that is because their birth rate is lower (about 1.8 births per woman). I've had 6 babies though (I'm multiparous). So according to scientific theory I should hit menopause earlier. Except I met a woman 2 years ago here a the grocery store and she said she hit menopause at 48, and that was her 8th child! So I guess there are always outliers.
