Well Glenn Jacobs (Kane) is busy being a mayor somewhere in Tennessee at the moment, so it's not too far out of the question that he might decide to make a run for the office. It's unlikely, but the fact that he even ran and then won his election in the first place is still funny.
Kane is surprisingly very well spoken and has that strong charisma. I think he seriously could go far in politics. He's county executive mayor whatever for the Knoxville area, which is impressive already.

"Most reassuring week of the campaign for Biden"? Where's that Ron Burgundy 'we are laughing' gif? Which is extremely appropriate because today, once again, he read off the teleprompter when he wasn't supposed to.

Gonna break my lurking in this thread to show this because I'm amused yet baffled. This was addressed to both my brother and I (we're the only two Independents in the household), although I've never seen siblings be listed together in the address like they're a married couple outside of the Deep South, ba-dum-tish. The Mark Kelly letter we got yesterday did the same thing, but I didn't save that letter, wasn't worth saving his "woe is me" tale.

But anyway:

I more-or-less wanna draw attention to the circled portion there because this honestly concerns me. Can others confirm if they're also getting mail that has their name(s) listed properly alongside "Or Current Resident" as a secondary "option"? Do the Republican ads have this, too, or is this strictly on Democrat ads? Or is the Arizona Democratic Party just an isolated case?

It really is two different universes. What in the holy fuck is he talking about?

Silver was bitching again about how Rasmussen and Trafalgar are "not highly-rated". He's just a partisan hack and not worthy of mentioning tbh.

Silver legit can't see anything beyond "the polls", so if the polls say Biden is good then Silver doesn't see anything else as an issue.

He thinks that any of our issues (Biden not being able to speak; people upset at cities burning) are all reflected in "the polls", and "the polls" haven't changed.

I don't get this stuff but a lot of generic marketing trash mail has "Or Current Resident" that I've always interpreted as "Just fucking take this shit, don't mail it back." You're on a list somewhere that they paid for and they mailed you stuff. If you had moved and someone else lived there, the mail is still for them.

I didn't realize they were going so hard on pinocchios still. WaPo started that dumb shit and I've heard people cite it on TV and CSPAN, the wackos.

The people who are saying "when Biden is president", "when Biden wins" and the overall attitude that he has it in the bag -- despite being incredibly uninspiring and feeble -- is turning this election election into, "It's His Turn!".
That's virtue signaling and positive coping. In polls, 20-30% of Democrats admit to thinking Trump will win in the end, surely the real number is a lot higher than that.

I think what bothers me the most is that if Trump wins in a landslide or wins the popular vote, then we'll have to hear the media act shocked. "Nobody saw this coming! We don't understand how it happened!"

More like the apparatchiks pray Biden wins because they have 0 power to wind down the riots without the win, and lack the stamina to go full balls-to-the-wall attempt a revolution.
"Joe Biden - Vote For Me Or Else!"

Tbf, it has been nearly half a century for him. However, he has done diddly or horrible shit with it for that long and has always been a political loser. He is so lucky Obama chose him.
