First off, my congratulations to MountainDew for the thread making it out of the Prospering Grounds. Toyhou.se absolutely deserved this dubious honor and I'm looking forward to sharing more of the weird, random shit this site has to offer.
With that said, I'd like to spotlight this particular account because of... everything. I've chosen not to spoiler the below image because it should serve as a pretty good indicator of what you're about to get into.
If you're interested in the rest of that story there in the middle, I've taken the liberty of adding it under this cut. Title is 100% accurate.
Maybe you noticed up there in the corner of the main image that this person has the 'drugs' tag. Now, most people when they think of this maybe think of doing drugs and if you're especially degenerate, maybe having sex while doing so, or specifically taking sex-enhancing drugs. Leave it to furries to take something that's perfectly understandable even in a fetish sense and make it incomprehensible.

For a very long time Miami thought she was just a really gay dude. She kept things hidden from her parents as well as she could be3cause she knew they wouldn't approve. But then she ran across a really hot girl in school and started questioning everything. It stressed her out and confused her to no end. Am I straight or gay? Finally she turned to the LGBTQIA+ club at her school for answers. They told her about bisexuality and pansexuality and much more, opening up her worls to so much. It was the happiest she has been in so very long. She started hanging out with them but her sibling caught her and told her parents. They questioned her and she finally got up the courage to say that she was into men and women, and that she was proud with herself and that they could stick it! Well that didn't go over too well and they kicked her out. So she fled to the one other adult she knew that her parents didn't like. Her grandpa.
Hitchhiking her way down to Miami, Florida, she arrived on her grandpas' bar's doorstep filthy and exausted. He took her in without question, got her cleaned up and food in her belly before letting her sleep. In the morning she told him everything, and he took it all without blinking. He let her rest up that day before approaching her with a proposition - work at his bar and live here free of charge and judgement. She accepted immediately, crying and clinging to him. She took her time, contacting her old friends at the old school and exploring herself. She worked hard but got cirious about the stripper pole. She asked the strippers to show her a few things and they did when her grandpa wasn;t looking and she fell in LOVE with it. It made her feel so powerful and confident. And when she denied her recent haircut to just a trip on the ends he noticed. She started looking at dresses more and makeup and she just brushed it off as being a very feminine gay man. One day her grandpa brought in some femine clothes and she didn't want to wear them but he insisted that she just try them once and he would drop it. She tried them on and it felt so good to her she cried. He brought up her maybe being transgender. She thought about it for a while. She talked with her friends about it, talked with the other strippers about it, tried some things out to see if they felt right and they did. She felt ungodly amounts of happy being called a girl and wearing feminine clothing and much more. She brought it up to her grandpa who just switched to using she and her immediately and moved on, accepting her like he always did. Eventually she got up the courage to ask him if she could be a stripper, but that's another story.

If this existed ten-fifteen something years ago, childhood me would have jumped on this lickety split. Sadly, thanks to the cynical AIDs infested zeitgeist of modern internet, this website is no longer a place for budding artistic minds. Dammit, the premise is something I would have loved, were it not for the overly glossy interface and the... demographic that it caters to. I'd say it's nothing but glorified Amino to support the shattered husk of what I like to call "OC culture", with its art trades, YCHs, adoptables and bios which I heavily suspect is derived from the cross-pollination of weeaboo/furry roleplayers and the like.

so, we all know that toyhouse is in beta.
but said beta is since 2015 (?!?!) and still lacks stuff here and there. and the staff doesn't log that ofter (if they do ever log).
so, the question is:
what is way more plausible:
toyhouse might exit out of beta one day? or toyhouse will end to be closed one day as the staff doesn't even care of tickets (usually)?

Since I know MountainDew checks up on this thread pretty regularly, I'd like to submit a possible minor tweak for the OP. Rate me autistic if this is too much, by all means.
While nosing around on the Farms I noticed a cow with their own thread who is listed as a prominent Toyhou.se user. Now, of course, they use other sites as well -- notably Tumblr and F-list -- but I thought maybe if I (or other people aiding and abetting this thread) could nose out one or two more cows like this, then we could have a "Faces of Toyhou.se" or "Notable Cows of Toyhou.se" section in the first post that links out to these people. You know, for the users who want to really shove their face in the crazy and get a good, long whiff.
Now, I'm sure plenty of this is covered on Tearzah's thread, but my offering today are items I rummaged out of their Toyhou.se account to highlight here.
So, first off, Tearzah's OP hasn't been updated to reflect the discovery of her Toyhou.se or F-list, but the Toyhou.se discovery happens within the first few comments. The link actually takes you to her main account, as the Tearzah account is just a side account for selling her art. See below:

Ok so you guys know the Kiba Spiritstone I linked? Apparently according to one of their former friends, they used to force their oc into diapers and showed off their babyfur art into a discord channel full of minors. No wonder I got bad touch vibes!

Staff does respond to tickets. I report Canon/Canon AU(s) all the time and there's only one or two of mine that haven't been responded too although the characters are taken down still, so maybe someone else reported them too. It helps immensely to site the actual rule in the subject line when submitting one. A lot of un-responded too tickets tend to be weird or complex situations, or if you read more into it, the person complaining about an untouched tickets often isn't telling the whole story.
They do log in but given that most of toyhou.se is running along smoothly and most of the features are developed, they're probably just tweaking background material if they are fiddling with the site. In a way the staff being very hands off/standoffish has benefits too. I've lot count of the sites where they go full retarded because of the 'power' they have.
I dunno about the beta. At this point maybe the staff just likes it that people have to make an effort to get a code, it probably helps to keep bots out. Archive of our Own is still invite only at times? all the time? too.

If you can find a little more dirt on this person, I'm looking at helping MountainDew with documenting Toyhou.se cows. I feel religious whacko badtouch dogperson might have some potential, but I'd need to dig deeper.
At the moment the bar is pretty high. Like, people with entire Kiwi Farms threads devoted to them high. I just finished gathering info on Gh0stchurch, and as much as I'd like to A-log on them a little, I'm too exhausted from archiving and documenting their four freaking Toyhou.se accounts. Their main, Ghsticide, is actually the least interesting since Gh0stchurch finally wised up a little and got more talented artists to make the art showcased on it. All of Gh0stchurch’s most hilarious content is posted on the account of the same name. A lot of their art has serious overtones of badtouch. You’ve been warned.

I wasn't sure if the Ghsticide account was her art or if she commissioned other people. It seemed like a really big leap forward in quality.
Went back to check the account out / dig deeper and got "Invalid user selected" for the newest account.
At the moment I'm just making a list of Toyhou.se users who already have Kiwi Farms threads as a sort of "If you want to read more, here's this person, here's their thread" kind of deal before moving on to try and organize the info for potential Toyhou.se cows without threads on the Farms.
