Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Idk about that. I get served Trump ads all day, especially that hokey one where he thanks the boaters for Trump.

We're not voting from Prom King and weighing the option of giving the crown to the retarded kid. No one who hates Trump is going to vote for him because they saw him be polite one time. Biden needs to collapse in blatant, dramatic fashion so that people see that they would be voting for a corpse of a man to lead the country. Hemming and hawing about the mean guy being too mean is just a fucking waste of everyone's time at this point.

The goal has to be to get him to either collapse or "lose it" on stage.

I don't know that there's a reliable way to accomplish the former, and explicitly trying can come off looking bad. Especially if Biden is trained to just stand there with a goofy grin and shake his head. It's enough of an optics contrast to work, at an emotional level.

However, Biden does fly off the handle in anger when you confront him. He gets frustrated when he thinks you've asked him the same thing multiple times. I think Trump needs to pick a specific weakness, like not condemning riots or progressives, and just bring it up at the end of every question until Joe has another WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY moment.


Notable that even after that outburst, he did calm down and make a coherent point about the actual question.

I keep saying, whoever is handling Biden knows how to get a stable performance out of him for a few hours, with the right cocktail of drugs. You don't get to run a billion dollar scam like the DNC without preparing for this kind of thing. Expectations on the first debate will be low, media will cover for him if he barely survives. Trump needs to reduce him to babbling the first night out, or take the high road and just hammer policy home (like safety and the riots).

We've seen how Biden reacts to higher stress settings when he can't rely on his staff to direct his every action. All Trump has to do is push Biden on two or three issues that the media refuses to talk about (Iraq War vote, Hunter, 1994 Crime Bill) until Biden turns into a blubbering demented mess. Lefties like to act like Trump is stupid, unprepared, etc, but he's been debating the hostile media at his press conferences for months now. Biden can't even deal with someone who goes off script. I don't want to lower expectations, but Trump will really miss out if he can't get Biden to collapse in front of everyone.

The debates are not that far away. Even if his cognitive decline is accelerating, I think his handlers will easily be able to prepare him for the debates with the right combination of training and medication. He just has to hold up to the strain for a few hours, and expectations are so low that anything short of a total cognitive breakdown will be touted as a resounding success.
