I've seen these range from clear, concise and informative to literal drooling idiocy, as in you question who the guy blew to graduate high school.
I'm not even knocking your average cop on it, most people's grasp on grammar and homophones is spotty and the reports are often going to be typed on an awkwardly-positioned field laptop in the cruiser and not cleaned up later because the officer has other stuff to do that's more core to their responsibilities.

My favorites are the ones where the report's author clearly didn't understand the concept of pronoun referencing, thus making it impossible to tell which party did what. Y'know, stuff like, "The two men began shoving each other, and then he punched him".

The appellate court will begin reviewing the appeal (and I assume cross appeal) on the 22nd.

Nothing "needs" to be submitted at this point, but I assume all parties will send a courtesy copy of their respective briefs to the three justices on the panel.
