Stories ft. some other cows(literally in Loey's case)

There's way more stuff on there but phone posting is hard enough

Apparently, the word “seamstress” doesn’t exist.

Aside from that, this wouldn’t end well anyway. With all the demands that fat activists have with clothing mixed with the amount of fabric and sewing required, the price is going to be steep. Most deathfats would rather spend more money on food rather than clothes anyway. Additionally, creating patterns is hard enough for straight sizes, plus sizes beyond 2X require different patterns, even if it’s the same style. It’s cheaper, easier, and better for the environment to just put down the fork than to try and cater to these demands. Finally, fat activists are nearly impossible to please, so even if this did happen, they’d still find something to complain about.

Sewist?! Fuck English am I right? These people will NEVER be happy. They will ALWAYS find something to complain about. And if they can't? They will make something up to complain about. It's sad isn't it? What a miserable existence. I'm not plus sized but I am petite in stature and have wider than average hips. I don't raise a fit and demand accommodations but, instead, take the pieces to my local seamstress. Like a normal, reasonable adult woman. Today I received a beautiful plaid shift dress that is, as usual, a few inches too long... I'll be hemming a few inches off and possibly adding some darts at waist line.. beautiful winter dress.

But I thought they got butthurt if they couldn't find clothes in infinifat sizes?

Also, fat designers? Unlike with normies, smallfats, or even some mediumfats, once you get to deathfat there's very little scope for clothing that fits properly other than "vaguely human shaped sack" and at infinifat your choice is basically between a tent and another tent.

As for fat "sewists," infinifats are too chunksome in the fingers and possibly have hampered manual dexterity as a result of that and/or poor blood supply to extremities to sew anything.

Or, this person could, you know, be the change they want to see, buy a sewing machine off Amazon and a few bolts of cloth and design and produce something themselves.

This poor “marginalized person” who was paying to visit a psychiatrist for years. Also what she even wrong? Did the ADHD diagnosis help anything except by giving her more pills to take? Sounds like she just doctor shopped to find a psych who didn’t fight with her self diagnosis and just prescribed whatever she asked for.

"The BMI scale was developed in the 1800s when cocaine was still recommended as a health supplement".

There's not even a decent correlation here. never mind a connection.

I think we should bring that shit back.

You think HAES people are annoying on Twitter right now? Let's shove some speedballs into 'em and let them loose.

I saw a smallfat older lady today at the store with a shirt that read I beat anorexia. And I had to chuckle to myself while thinking of all the HAES crazy bitches who would have bombarded her with “you are a fat shaming racist!!” comments if she posted a pic of herself wearing it online. These fat cunts are so woke but only online. Name one who would have had to guts to start something with grandma’s shirt in public. It’s fucking hilarious!

She's getting sassier with her posts. Place yourbets with who her first cow crossover will be with!

Shut the fuck up Bekah.
If you don't want comments on your body, why do you constantly post pictures of yourself in your underwear?

Actually I can't understand why anyone of any size would post pictures like these unless they're an underwear model promoting lingerie. When I'm browsing social media, I don't want to see photos of my family, friends or colleagues in their underwear. This level of nudity is OK when you went on a trip and you're posting a few photos of yourself at the beach or the pool. In any other context, it seems so awkward and weirdly out of place.

Covert narcissism masquerading as activism. For every insult she gets, she gets 20 comments telling her how brave and strong and hot and awesome and kick-ass she is. Even the insults are attention. Not to mention that all-important dopamine rush with every 'like'.

I wasn't aware there were serious proponents of eating whatever you want after a diagnosis of diabetes. I know very little about diabetes past the most basic stuff but that sounds ridiculously dangerous. Going to have to see what I can find out about that as I have similar questions, mostly involving how DO you eat without limiting carbs in her circumstances.

I was confused by the word "sewist" too. Sounds like someone who discriminates against sewing supplies ...

Maybe "learn to sew" should be the "learn to code" for this crowd. It's not hard, especially if you're hiding all the gnarly-looking seams on the inside where no one will see them. Not even making new garments, just altering the ones already to hand--especially if you're buying cruddy fast fashion that might need fixing up anyway.
