Cross-posting from the TDS thread, with a slightly different focus. Today, there were 4 huge Trump boat parades: NJ, KY, MN, and TX. This goes back to the question of voter enthusiasm, since he previously had huge boat parades back in July and August too.

However, today only the TX one is getting any attention... because some of the boats sank in rough waters.

Worth a bit of a laugh, since nobody got hurt, but I just wanted to note that the guy had at least four massive boat parades going on Labor Day weekend. I don't see anyone using their vacation time to fly Biden flags.

Um Nate Pewter told me there's actually a Shy Biden voter effect so I will choose to ignore what is before my own eyes. Sure, I've seen more Vermin Supreme bumper stickers than Biden ones thus far, I've yet to see a single Biden sign or flag, and Trump supporters are literally being killed on the streets, but Biden really has a +5 point swing. It's just hidden. Duh.

I almost agree, but there is a fundamental difference with how the left does it. They often justify their predictions with "data" or "science" where as alot of Trump people just go off of "feel."

Theres alot of BS on both sides, but the left's arrogance is more embarrasing/funny when they lose because of how often they try to act objective (it's all about muh facts) and even virtuous. That's at least what I've observed about the parties in my lifetime.
For supposedly being intellectually superior, they sure have a hard time coming up with reasons they fail inside their locus of control.

Just once I'd like them to consider the possibility that they're not losing because Fox News or AM radio brainwashes conservatives. Or understand that when Trump's approval goes up, the movement isn't coming from those stupid, deplorable cult members, it's coming from independents and people in their own party.

I won't hold my breath.

I'm trying to imagine why anyone would be scared to rep Biden. Afraid of being called a retard pussy faggot by a random edgelord, maybe?

So here's my empirical testimony about people I know and Biden: people are apparently voting for him, but they're not nearly as passionate about it as they were for Obama, Hillary, and even Sanders. It's almost like they're just voting for him as a chore since muh "Vote Blue No Matter Who." Sure there's the Redditards and mouth-breathers who watch Stephen Colbert and keep sharing shitty memes about Joe Biden being Captain America, but that's really it for the most part.

Some run of the mill Boomers I see on Facebook are repping for Biden, with one person in particular unironically changing their Facebook avatar to some cringey election button that says something gay like "Hey Donald and Melania, make room for Joe this November!". Apart from that it's the usual establishment neolibs changing their profile pictures of Biden with sunglasses. On Tinder I saw some basic bitch Millennial girl wearing a Kamala Harris t-shirt, which was stylized like the Obama HOPE logo.

I haven't seen a single Biden/Harris sign in front of any of my neighbors yards, nor have I seen a single Biden bumper sticker or tshirt in public. In 2016 there were a fuckton of Hillary H logo stickers on the cars in my town, as well as pro-Hillary graffiti and street art. I still see plenty of Bernie Sanders bumper stickers as well as the occasional 30-something soyboy walking down the street with a Sanders shirt.

Honestly it just boils down to the fact that every news source in 2016 said it was at worst an 80% chance of a Clinton win and she lost. Now at best they can pull a 10% above by asking boomers who are the only ones that respond to the telemarketing phone calls? The media and Hollywood is in an absolute frenzy but the evidence is clear. The far left is divided but there will be plenty of blue votes, harris be damned, but the middle aged and old crowd who actually votes en masse is just not there for Biden.

Trump supporters have taken every opportunity for a demonstration to show just how jazzed they are to vote for him. Hell some are even willing to caravan through a hostile prostest for kicks. You're not seeing pro Biden demonstrations in rural Texas. No Obama level flyering or graffiti. No dried up cunts on the tube sucking up to Madame President. Even with Kamal being the real candidate, no one likes her.

The Trump hate vote is very real but it's only among the usual loony Dem voter base. The burnt out now approaching elderly hippy vote. People who vote blue no matter who. That's it.

This is the reason for all the resurrecting of all the old hoaxes, they have nothing new besides the handling of Corona. They have to just rapid fire scandals because the writing in on the wall.

Which elections were the minor ones?
The incumbency elections of the last two presidents have both been minor ones. Kerry was the "old, flip-flopping, only good at being less bad than the literally hitler republican incumbent" stereotype before Biden came around, and Edwards was the manufactured up-and-comer a la Harris. Obama vs. Romney was essentially the establishment dream election, where both candidates more-or-less agreed with each other, but the media amped up their differences to try and trick idiots into thinking their vote mattered.

I'm trying to imagine why anyone would be scared to rep Biden. Afraid of being called a retard pussy faggot by a random edgelord, maybe?
Because they're terrified of Trump supporters, obviously. The ones that go out and constantly steal Biden supporters' signs and even murder them in the streets in Portland.

For supposedly being intellectually superior, they sure have a hard time coming up with reasons they fail inside their locus of control.

The Left always thinks they're smarter than they are, and that the Right is filled with morons. This goes back to at least Eisenhower if not earlier. Ike was supposed to be an out-to-lunch President, obviously a military hero but Stevenson was SO much smarter, dontcha know.

Fast forward to Clark Clifford calling Reagan an "amiable dunce", etcetera. It's never really stopped. And in the rare cases where the Left thinks elements of the Right are crafty and evil instead of stupid (Nixon, Cheney, Bill Buckley, Lee Atwater, Karl Rove, etc.), the voters are still clueless dopes no matter what.

I don't see how they pull it off without shenanigans going on. It was posted before that Biden has to win the popular vote by 2-3 points for the election to be a toss-up, (because the Electoral College favors Trump/Republicans, and Hillary still lost even by winning the popular vote by two points). The media is acting like he'll get a landslide bigger than Obama in 2008, but how is that going to happen when they're less enthusiastic than in 2016?

Judging by the responses in Silver's tweets, if Trump wins (and they actually accept that fact) their narrative will be that he only won because the media wanted a horse race which made the election turn into an actual horse race because there's no way Trump should have won otherwise.

The last four Republican Presidents have been two Bushes and two guys from show business, yet they still believe they're so smart. It's absolutely fascinating.

And of course Trump and the two Bushes were Ivy League grads, which would impress them if they were Democrats. But they're Republicans, so it might as well not matter.

Well Trump transferred from Fordham to Penn, so the elitists still will scoff. Of course, when Obama transferred to Columbia from Occidental, they didn't care at all. Even though the actual proof of his full attendance as a Columbia College (undergrad humanities school within Columbia University) is deliberately hidden. I have no doubt Obama got into the school on some sort of weird affirmative action program where he didn't have to actually take the full Core (8 classes) required of every undergrad, and the reason why they continue to hide his records is because people would realize he didn't actually attend the school as a normal student.

Seriously, you can not find Obama's college records. Even if you schedule an appointment with the university archives, his records alone are missing. It's very weird. But I guess that's black privilege.

I call it being thrusted into power. Hillary was destined in 2008, but she had to be dumb, so King Obama (thank God for the 22nd Amendment!).

US election poll tracker: Trump's support COLLAPSES amid Joe Biden SURGE - latest odds

https://www.express.co.uk/news/worl...ld-Trump-military-loser-Joe-Biden-latest-odds

US election poll trackers have worked tirelessly to forecast this year's ballot, which will come amid unprecedented circumstances. COVID-19 has dominated 2020, most notably so in the US, which has pushed Donald Trump into an unfavourable position. Nearly 200,000 Americans have died, with no end to the pandemic in sight, and social tension has flared amid Black Lives Matter protests and alleged comments made by the President about the military.

According to poll aggregators FiveThirtyEight, the President recently managed close in on Mr Biden, who has maintained a nearly two figure lead on the incumbent since March this year.

As August came to an end, Mr Trump had managed to scrape together 43 points to Mr Biden's 50 - his highest share since June.

The Democrat nominee now maintains a lead of 7.5, two points lower than the week before.

But early polls show the former Vice President is gaining once more and is now half a point ahead while Mr Trump's lead collapses.

While not a devastating decline (the President has lost roughly 0.2 percent of the vote) the change could signal the start of a downwards trend.

A recent article by The Atlantic claimed Mr Trump expressed scorn for dead and wounded US soldiers in a series of remarks reported by sources close to his administration.

The article alleged the President rejected a visit to the French Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in 2018 as it was "filled with losers".

An officer with "first hand" knowledge of the President's views added he "doesn’t see the heroism in fighting".

Even before the article dropped, Mr Trump had already surrendered voters to his rival.

The latest polls show he has surrendered yet another lead to Mr Biden, who now has a four-point advantage in one of the incumbent's former strongholds.

The President once captured 20 percent of the vote from active-duty troops over Hillary Clinton, making the latest development one of the most dramatic.

Now, 60 percent of those same troops disapprove of his Presidency according to a Military Times poll, and the divide will only deepen from here.

Republican veterans of Republican Voters Against Trump have spoken out against him in a new advert, pledging their support with Mr Biden.

Democrats have seized an opportunity to shore up their military support, and the former Vice President wasted no time in speaking out against his rival.

Speaking in person after the article emerged, Mr Biden branded the allegations "disgusting", and suggested his rival was not fit to continue in his role.

He said: “If what is written in The Atlantic is true, it’s disgusting.”

And it affirms what most of us believe to be true: that Donald Trump is not fit to do the job of president, to be the commander in chief.”

The President has denied all claims set against him, and prominent officials have flocked to his side.

But his opponents have found cause to believe otherwise, as Mr Trump has previously claimed he likes soldiers "who weren't captured" when discussing late Senator John McCain.

"He has made disparaging remarks about the Republican, and also attempted to take credit for a veterans bill Mr McCain passed in 2014.

Calling it 'not a devastating decline' while the headline screams that Trump's base 'COLLAPSES'. Shitty UK newspaper spins a story based on Nate Aluminium's bullshit, but the limeys in the comments aren't having any of it. Shame to see the disinformation occur on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
