Probably because sane women run away as soon as they truly realize a grown man has been spending tens of thousands of dollars on giant toys, but otherwise has no money saved. Also, in my experience, a lot of those toycave types either don't want kids, or never figure out why their girlfriend isn't EXACTLY like their dudebro friends, thus driving any gf away.

Excellent point I didn't notice earlier with the boomer caves; the couples still have money saved up regardless and most of it is filled with things both find appealing (big screen TVs, alcohol, fine wood, big cozy couches, etc).
