Hillary Clinton has finally been reduced to, "That crazy old woman rambling in her livingroom."
1599359074373.png

Bill looks like he'd rather spend retirement in peace and fuck some models rather than do any politics. I've never seen a man so bored before.
I've never seen anyone's legacy been completely reversed. When his presidency ended he was universally popular on both the left and right. Spending the last 20 years pissing away his legacy trying to get Hillary into the WH and fucking himself over in the process.
Probably because he seems like a chill dude who actually respects and likes them. This is still one of my favorite Trump moments.
@1:05 "That's awesome" :heart-full:

And before you say "Gay marriage", that was the success of someone elses lawsuit, the only input Obama actually had in that was to not defend it.

The amount of times I have to remind both my hyperconservative family and my liberal friends that Trump is the most pro-LGBT president we've ever had (except Buchanan, lol) is mind-numbingly repetitive at this point. Obama was against gay marriage until 5 seconds before it was legal and he suddenly had always been its most fervent supporter. Same with Hillary. Trump's been pro-LGBT since the 90s, but nobody's allowed to remember that because the Orange Man has always been against "the Right Side of History".

The only legacy Obama really has is being Black Jesus; oh yeah, and Gitmo is still open. Thanks, Obama.

Professional idiot Jim Carrey has a "big idea" on how to restore decency and humanity. Of course, it consists only of removing Trump...

It's really not a big idea and obviously run-of-the-mill TDS, but someone told this asshole that his opinion matters.
>We must vote for decency, humanity, and a way of life that once again captures the imagination of kids all over the world — kids like me.
>kids like me
>Jim Carrey's age: 58

I mean, I know Trump's broken Jim's brain (see the plethora of his "artistic" creations lambasting every Republican he can think of), but when you forget that you're pushing 60, it's time to stop.

Obama.

Name a single thing that was Obama's that remained.
I was more thinking about Clinton's personal legacy. At the end of his presidency he was pretty much liked by everyone. He could've faded away like Carter and become a respected elder statesman. But instead he burnt all that goodwill trying to get his shrill wife elected to high office.

Obama didn't leave office with any good bipartisan feels. And he's too damn lazy and disinterested to push his own family into politics. He couldn't even get out a timely endorsement for his own VP.

Watergate people are the worst, whether it's Carl Woodward, John Dean, or Hillary Clinton. They never got over the high that they got from taking down a fairly popular president, and most never let you forget that they were on the legal team that never had a chance to present their case in an impeachment trial. It must be frustrating not to control the media narrative like they were able to back then.
I've noticed "Watergate Investigator/Expert" gets thrown around as a political credential, often enough to be considered legit. Thing is, Watergate was almost 50 years ago, and anyone who investigated it who is still on this mortal coil isn't going to be so much longer.

I don't dispute the Six Gorillion narrative, but are Watergate Investigators™️ on the same level as Holocaust Survivors™️?

Hillary Clinton has finally been reduced to, "That crazy old woman rambling in her livingroom."
This is my honest opinion on the Baby Boomer generation. This is the same generation that has gave the world the now failed 'War on Drugs', they were the ones that made the world to spend countless trillions on the now failed 'War on Terror' after the 9/11 attacks, and they're also were the generation that passed unconstitutional laws using either religion, the bullshit 'Think of the Children' argument, or for any bullshit 'National Security' reasons (go see the Patriot Act because that's a perfect example of this, never mind if said bullshit laws violate the U.S. Constitution then).

It's funny because this is the generation that inherited the country that the 'Silent Generation' and the 'Greatest Generation' rebuilt where they took it and they ruined it for the generations after them later on.

So at this point, I now only wish that these Boomer politicians from both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party will soon finally be gone then and when they're gone then it's only then that any positive changes can finally happen in the United States by that point.

Now without further ado, I'll just let George Carlin take over from here then.

The far Left getting a big dick, thinking they will never be opposed by anyone, and falling in love with the Establishment, the surveillance state, big business, and the military-industrial complex (after spending every moment of Dubya's presidency denouncing all of those as the realm of Nazi warmongers).

So before the 'Religious Right' as we know it came to be, most churches wanted nothing to do with politics because they saw it as filled with corruption and venomous snakes and the U.S. Government didn't wanted to give people the bad impression that they were going to use religion to get more votes for an election then. But that changed after 'Roe v. Wade' and several religious leaders saw this as an opportunity to mix politics and religion and since the Republican Party at the time was more favorable to religious freedom they chose them to be put on the political spotlight and the rest was history by that point.

Now they wouldn't really gain any ground until the 1980's where they've launched moral crusades against violent action movies, Dungeons and Dragons, the edgy music genre of 'Punk Rock' music, LGBT representation in pop culture media, video games, cartoons, and so on. They've gained some victories and the years went on as they continued doing this well into the 1990's as they were a force to be reckoned with.

So then came the 2000's and at this time the Internet was growing bigger and bigger as ideas and content became even more easily shared and this was the first time that the 'Religious Right' was put under intense scrutiny. The same religious leaders that were once respected would be exposed as frauds and a lot of the shit from the 'Religious Right' would be uploaded to the Internet where everyone can finally see that these people don't really care for the teachings of the Bible and are only concerned with money and power anyway.
I was going to pile up another bunch of responses, but I just have to get this out there now. But a lot of these beliefs about the religious right are super over simplified.

Like "churches wanted nothing to do with politics"?

I can't even pick out a passage on Hilary Clinton's chapter in Liberal Fascism. She was raised a freakin' united methodist and went to Wellesley college. The Reverend Donald Jones bought her a subscription to the Methodist magazine motive when she went off to college and she bragged in an interview that she had every issue that magazine sent her.

The Left has a long history of religion entwined in its movement that entire books have been written about, it's only within the last few generations that it's begun reversing that. Don't buy their editing of history on this or any other topic.

Hah! You wish.

(he's been on this for like... a week)

His writing is always hilarious just seeing how he twists himself into knots trying to resolve the contradictions between his political views and his faith. Despite the clear statements from the church on abortion and how you are morally bound not to vote for any politican that supports abortion, Shea still claims the moral high ground. You cannot get much more direct than this:
Pope John Paul the II said:
“In the case of an intrinsically unjust law, such as a law permitting abortion or euthanasia, it is therefore never licit to obey it, or to take part in a propaganda campaign in favor of such a law, or vote for it”. — No. 73, Evangelium Vitae
While there is some rot in the Church, most practicing Catholics will not vote for Biden on this ground.

What, so then we can have the idiots out burning buildings down and trying to cancel people over a ten year old tweet in charge of politics?

The establishment thinking that sticking a black person into political limelight will result something big.

Black people only stick with Democrats because of promised gibs, they know these niggas won't do anything.

If the Democrats wanted to at least have a strong chance this year, they should have put Vernon Jones on the ticket, or at least made him the running mate.

Also something from the DNC that Obama and Kamala said that pissed me off. What is this "doing the work?" King Obama rolls up and just says Trump hasn't done the work, as if the orange man has just been twiddling his small thumbs. Kamala just said something in regards to "Racism is a virus and it must end. We have to do the work." Fake shit in any case.

Hah! You wish.

I have payed attention to Mark Shea in the past, and used to respect him. He has turned into a soyboy hippie Cafeteria Catholic whose main concern is the Gospel of Bernie Sanders. IIRC he was censured by his local bishop and fired from his job at the National Catholic Register (not to be confused with the National Catholic Reporter, a leftist jizzrag that does nothing but talk shit about orthodox Catholicism).

Any faithful Catholic can dismiss him. I, as a practicing Catholic, would rather have Trump, who at least pretends to be pro-life, than the Dems, who fetishize abortion as a sacrament and masturbate to the idea of treating Catholics the same way China treats Uyghur Muslims.

The Truman Show was the worst thing that could have happened to Carey; he suddenly thought it he could become a "serious" actor and more to the point, quickly developed a complex where he thinks he should have been the next Jimmy Stewart.

He hasn't had a hit in ages (and the few he's had in the last twenty years are comedies, which he now actively despises having to do) and his attempts at a TV comeback, playing a manic-depressive Mr Rogers expy, failed as well. His painting fixation is another example of his DESPERATE need to be proclaimed a "serious artist", even though 99% of his shit is violent revenge fantasies against Trump. According to an interview he did recently did with Bill Maher, he even admits that he'd get party vanned by the FBI if he posted half of what he paints (gory, disturbing paintings of Trump and Republicans being murdered in gruesome fashion) online, in that Carey is a super sick bastard who would probably emulate John Wilkes Boothe and assassinate Trump in a heartbeat if he could get close enough to do it.

@1:05 "That's awesome" :heart-full:

Part of the issue with the fall of Clinton's standing, is that it was due to the fact that the left spent SIXTEEN YEARS building towards a Clinton restoration. The entire purpose of the DNC from 2001-2016 was to put Hillary back into office, to the point that even Obama's Presidency was bent over the bed to achieve this goal.

I've joke that the 1990s are to the left what the 1950s were to the right. EVERYONE has rose colored memories of that period, especially Gen X-Gen Z to the point that you could compare it to the Nexus from Star Trek Generations. An idealistic place in time that people are willing to kill, commit genocide to get back to, damn the consquences.

But in a lot of ways, Obama existing kind of queered the deal. He was made to bend the knee to the Clinton Restoration agenda yes, but he kind of showed that the left COULD WIN without having to go crawling towards the Clintons to rescue America from the Republicans.

Add to this, that Hillary is a horrible human being and that even the staunchest Clinton boosters will admit that she's an unlikable cunt and that her being an unlikable cunt who HONESTLY THOUGHT that being First Lady meant that she was co-President, did UNSPEAKABLE damage to the Democrats as a whole as far as pissing of so many fucking people, that it helped sweep the Democrats out of power in the Senate/House and gave the GOP majorities in both chambers of Congress, effectively fucking Bill over politically as far as A. Giving the GOP the means to impeach Clinton via having control over the House and B. forcing him to move way more to the right than he originally intended to, in order to get Gingrich and company to even think about working with Bill on anything.

The fact that Hillary was also running on a SJW platform further killed the rose colored view of Bill's Presidency. I have to think Hillary truly didn't fucking think anyone would bother or even DARE to fact check her and her husband on what they actually did do in the 90s vs what Hillary said she would do. Or that she would face an opponent who had the balls to throw Monicagate and her husband's whoring into her face and point out that she was a hypocrite of the highest order, preaching feminism after calling the women her husband got caught fucking a "lying whore" and part of a "vast right wing conspiracy" to frame her husband for adultery.

Finally, Hillary truly fucked up thinking she was fighting the same right wing (conservative christians and Reagan/Bush I era conservatives) and not neo-libertarian alt-right types who don't give a fuck if John and Jack are fucking and are agnostic in their faith, but care about immigration and the left's war on free speech and corporations who outsource everyone's jobs/hire illegals instead and who believe themselves untouchable gods who rule the world from sillicon valley.

Something tells me if Carlin was alive today he would be spouting nonstop TDS, too old to realize things had changed since the early 2000s. With the occasional jab at the woke crowd, like the potshots he took at environmentalists.
