I get depressed from YT videos that are not even a year old anymore. I've been watching convention-related stuff where a bunch of people are gathered together to celebrate a common interest, lots of smiles and enjoyment all around without a single retarded mask in sight and, fuck, it feels like we'll never get to see moments like that ever again...

I'm just tired. So very, very tired... (:_(

An event I was looking forward to was postponed from spring to September. I just saw it has gone "virtual,"* and thought to myself, "They really think this nonsense will still be going on in September?" Then I realized it already is. Some part of my brain that handles the passage of time is broken.

* Scare quotes because a catered boozy event with backstage tours can't be done virtually. Instead, they are encouraging us to buy our own booze and watch videos of them on our computers. Pass.

I can't watch any videos that have the social distancing/mask wearing. I just can't. I can sometimes watch things from years ago but not this unnatural crap people are doing now.

I watched some videos of Disney World after reopening because I was curious how creepy it would be and that shit was fucking unnerving. I noticed they only talked about "face coverings" and "physical distancing", is there some weird Legalese reason or is it because they know people are sick and tired of constantly hearing "masks" and "social distancing"?

God, Australia is such a fucking shithole. I’m in Melbourne and no one is allowed to go outside 5km of their house, masks are mandatory, you can’t go other people’s houses, can’t cross state borders EVEN if you live right on the border, almost every business was forced to temporarily close except for bare basics like supermarkets and pharmacies, you’re only allowed one hour outside a day and you can’t go out past 8pm not to mention that they’re making corona vaccines compulsory. Wrongthink isn’t allowed either, because a pregnant woman got arrested for wanting to protest the lockdown. And barely anyone even sees a problem with this, they just mindlessly nod their heads and follow the government no question (though what do you expect when all these people come from a long line of criminals that have had to live in these conditions lol. Again, do you really expect freedom in a CCP bootlicking country?). The amount of shit i’ve gotten from strangers for not wearing a mask to go literally next door is insane. I’m honestly the LAST person that would get annoyed at having to stay indoors but It’s really starting to piss me off. Today we are supposed to find out when these restrictions are going to be lifted but somehow I doubt that they’re going to be listed despite that the cases here have been less than 100 for a week or so. I was going to leave this shithole country and go back to Europe, but I can’t even do that, because they aren’t letting anyone leave even if you’re a citizen of a different country. And every time I call Australia a nanny state Australians get pissy with me.

The economy has also gone to shit too, but honestly Australians kinda deserve it since a good majority of them are dumb as fuck and were too greedy by relying on international students and chinks inflating the housing market. I can’t wait to leave this hellhole.

Here's the CDC summary showing declining ED visits, hospitalizations, and deaths. Positive tests were also steady or declining from mid-July until last week, when they increased from 5.4% to 5.5%.

If I estimated the maximum to have occurred a little earlier than it did, I apologize, this is clearly something that's very important to you and I didn't take your feelings into consideration. But we have been on a downward trend for quite a while, and I don't see a correlation between the 100 days of riots and the incidence of COVID-19. I wish I did, because that would mean the rioters are getting sick and dying. But given the measly numbers produced by Oregon and Washington, which endured an outright street war and a criminal autonomous zone, I just don't think it's circulating among them.

It's disgraceful, but do remember that Melbourne is Australia's equivalent of LA or San Fran. It's not indicative of the rest of the country.

Melbourne is 5mil out of a total 25mil - so it's 20% of Australia. That's the same as California and Texas combined.

Victoria is also a part of the CCP Belt & Road initiative.

The PM is ripping that up, thankfully.

The 5mil in Melbourne seems like a lot in comparison to the rest of the population, but it's deceiving. Australia is just as big as the US, and Melbourne is a tiny area in the south east of the country.
