I couldn't resist. Enjoy using these whenever you drop a hot take somewhere and need to run away.

I think a pro-Trump person would generally hide it from anyone who also isn't pro-Trump.

I mean, a man literally got assassinated because he was wearing the wrong hat.
That's nothing new for joggers. It doesn't even have to be the wrong hat with them in some places. It can just be you're wearing your hat turned to the wrong side of your head! Genius level shit.

The thing that really confuses me is that, it seems to be some kind of generational thing. Like it started at a certain point. Maybe the 60s?
Because I've met quite a few old school black people, people in their 60s or 70s and as a rule of thumb they tend to be wise, have an admirable work ethic, religious and very traditional.

But then you go further down the line even one generation, let alone two generations, and those people are generally doing very poorly.
My thinking is, it has something to do with politicians [Democrats primarily] keeping entire generations of black people badly dependent on welfare, food stamps and affirmative action.
I believe I may have shared something similar earlier in this mega-thread. My grandma's black neighbors grew up in the pre-civil rights era, and we always suspected the husband might be partially illiterate because he had issues understanding dates when it came to reading expiration dates on milk. Nevertheless, he and his wife were respectable people raised with good values despite growing up in a time where they lacked basic civil rights. One time, the husband mentioned he spent a brief time collecting welfare (or "relief" as he called it) before moving to my grandma's neighborhood. He hated the idea of having to rely on government money and couldn't wait to get another job that would allow him to fully support his family because he believed anyone able to do so should work to support themselves and not rely on handouts.

Fast forward roughly 3 decades and the attitude has taken an 180-degree turn in that Blacks seem to prefer collecting welfare over working thanks to policies and attitudes -- largely Democratic ones -- that place less incentive on work and make work less profitable in some instances. Since Welfare income alone is largely subsistence income, there's little money available for other wants, needs, or unanticipated expenses -- which is why the overall quality of life of welfare recipients tends to be poor as @GrimProphet said. Worse, the idea that working is beneath them has become so ingrained that they have neither interest in jobs nor the marketable skills needed for them.

I live in a SUPER blue area, so yes. I have, and do, drive 20 minutes to avoid shopping at businesses that have BLM signs hanging in front of them.

And I haven't seen a single Trump sign in my state, going back five years.
I live in one of the most blue, reliably Democrat areas myself and he has zero support here. There is no support for any Democrat period anymore. Trump flags, signs, stickers everywhere and same for the R candidate for governor. I would be very surprised if the state did not turn purple to red.

I hate Trump. I think he is probably the worst president America has ever had. Yet, I will be voting a straight red ticket because the Democrats are supported by monstrously evil groups whose malevolent influence would be worse than another four years of Trump's drooling retardedness. The second a statue of George Washington was torn down, I dedicated myself to voting Republican until Democrats repudiated such actions. Biden and Harris supporting the riots further entrenched me in my position. I think I'm acting reasonably. I still trust the polls are accurate. I would prefer they were wrong, but I'm realistic.
I am a fairly socialist libertarian, very liberal liberty above all, free speech absolutist. Like Chomsky. There is no way that Trump isn't a better candidate, anyone without TDS can see that. That's more than half of the population. Less than one sixth of the population is under the delusion this makes more than half the pop. fit for the guillotine. November is gonna whip these people's asses raw, and in not the way they like.

As far as him being the worst prez ever, history may say you are right...for a time.

Look at how fast the establishment embraced lobotomized painter, war-criminal Bush. In what world does a neo-con warmonger get excused 8 years after leaving office? One where they all live in the same swamp, and all want the same wars, so it will take a lot longer to correct the lens and see his presidency for what it was: banal, non-warmongering, and obstructed at every step of the way.

Teleologically, I think history will make a saint of Trump, because a lot of criticisms are in bad faith, ignore precedent, or are complete horse shit. The "very good people" fallacy alone.... my god.

Rochester, someone set fire to a Uhaul truck (probably antifa) and the business owner just showed up. He's a black dude.

So black owned business having its assets burned by BLM protesters...check. :story:

Second truck may be catching on fire now.
Edit: nvm fire department just got there and put it out

Yeah, Rochester, they have managed to burn another black business apparently. Guy owned some Uhauls, and now two of them are on fire. He came out of another one and took his shirt off for some reason to be mad. I thought maybe he was going to try and save his business, but I'm not sure what he can do.

Taking his shirt off maybe makes watching everything burn more comfortable?

Why weren't they shot?

Almost every poll has Trump losing the battleground states. I know polls got it wrong it 2016, but they still all gave Trump a decent chance to win. Biden is likely the next president, as much as people would like to believe otherwise. Maybe lightning strikes twice, but anyone who isn't completely dominated by TES should acknowledge that Trump is likely out give current polling. Polls have very high accuracy. That they were wrong in one case is not indicative of a very flawed methodology. I would prefer Trump win, even though I think he's bottom-feeding trash, but it's unlikely.
>a decent chance to win
Nigger they gave Hillary a 98% chance to win. How is that giving Trump a decent chance to win?
Polls have fucked up and failed to predict everything from 2016 to Brexit. They havent had a 'very high accuracy' for over half a decade now.

Please don't keep posting pictures of animals to "take a break from the thread." The thread's already almost 5,000 pages long and moves at a pace of more than a dozen pages a day, or faster if something happens. If someone needs to "take a break" from the thread, they can just close the tab like a normal person.
I know I wouldnt mind a separate chat just for discussions and one for just actual information so I do not have to do through so many pages of opinions to get to the one or two videos or news. Been thinking about starting one.

Edit: I tried making one and it got removed. Oh well

I don't exactly know why, but whenever a black dude takes his shirt off in public, you know shit is about to go down so you might want to keep an eye on it.

Because both parties are playing this stuff out to get people riled up to vote. My friends sister called her to tell me to register to vote (we need his vote (for Biden)). Im politically apathetic because Im a both-sides-suck-er, so I hadnt registered and she forced me to, going so far as to fill the thing out for me and just send it to me for my drivers license and signature.

People are worked up to vote one shit team out over another. The king is dead, long live the king.

I'm a very interventionist liberal. I think the Iraq War was great, regardless of any other considerations, because it deposed a genocidal fascist and freed millions of people to have the beginnings of a democracy at the expense of ~5000 lives (compare to WW2). In my view, Bush was retarded, but his administration accidentally or otherwise made the morally correct decisions.

I like Trump for many things, like his hard line on China, but he is dumb as shit. The major contrasting point for me is that Biden is clearly senile, and Harris built her campaign on legislating via EO's, which I think are generally terrible for US democracy. EOs should be very rare, SCOTUS should stop legislating from the bench, and Congress should make laws. That's my slightly more complex view.
