When the democrats have spent the last 4 years throwing an extended tantrum over the loss of their pre-selected candidate, have spent the better part of 5 years writing article after article trying to explain why non-citizens should vote, rationalizing why people that didn't vote "the correct way" shouldn't be allowed to vote, and appear to be actively trying to enable easily corruptible voting systems, I'd say the problem isn't "muh white supremacy", it's the less and less masked authoritarians that have spent their lives being coddled and shielded by their Helicopter Karen mothers.

He knows he's said some pretty spicy things in the past, he has zero minority status to hide behind (if he were any whiter he'd be transparent), and that Welcome to Tumblr video is a huge millstone around his neck when it comes to his reputation. The entire community he's in, from VAs to artists and animators, is ridiculously woke. I'm not surprised in the slightest that he did it, I don't think he actually believes half the shit he's spouting there, and I wouldn't be surprised if he quietly got rid of the text once the backlash against "trans rights!" hits.

I need to tell you about a new group called "Feminists against Trolls". Originally I planned to make a thread about them, but I decided it would be better to include them as a snack to this one. Starting as a troll account, they have attracted both trolls and unironic feminists with this video, which went viral. It resulted in a lot of heated discussion between feminists and feminist weens who can't tell apart satire from reality. It was founded by a Twitter user called @UnbiasedKatie, which is also a troll acount.
Eventually the Feminists against Trolls opened a discord server to "discuss trolls and how to fight them". Just as they planned, trolls joined, and as you can see, the server is a mess right now:
The interesting part of this however is that some of the users seem to be unironically wanting to fight gamer trolls. Admins and other high tier members either partake in a giant conspiracy to seem like legit, non-exaggerrated feminists, or they have slipped into the moderation, probably because Katie doesn't really give a shit about the server anyways. The discord is now slowly turning into a completely unironic version of itself, banning trolls and promoting feminists and feminist thought. I am interested to see where this goes.

A short apology comes off as either insincere or lazy to SJWs. If you're apologizing, you have to state (in no particular order):
- Who you are;
- What you are (which groups you belong to);
- What your privilege is;
- What you've done;
- Why what you've done is bad;
- The sociopolitical context of why what you've done is bad;
- How bad what you've done is;
- How your privilege blinded you to the thing you've done being bad;
- How your privilege makes the thing you've done worse;
- How bad you feel;
- How bad you have made everybody from the group you offended feel;
- How you're a bad person for having done what you did;
- How you're taking measures to avoid from doing what you've done again;
- How you intend to issue reparations to the groups offended.

This is the same group that was behind Friends of Journalism (a), which was a great troll. They were banned from Twitter recently and had to do a rebrand. Their discord was run in the same way as you describe this one. It's a technique that makes the group appear legit to outside observers who become curious about the twitter posts. Seeing the server filled with people LARPing as, or filled with real members of a group (feminist, sjw, trans, etc) makes the twitter seem legit.
