I tried the watercolors again.
I can't wait to get some palettes and heavier paper (THE WRINKLING PAINS ME) so I can mix and dilute my colors a little easier. OH AND GO HOME AND DO SOME DIGITAL ART.

I remember when I was really little, I was using watercolors, and I distinctly remember feeling disappointed that my results really sucked compared to some great paintings from history I remembered seeing.Watercolor is honestly my favorite form of color medium.
Something personal-ish
I used Paint Tool Sai. It's a pretty snazzy art program that I've grown fond of, but I'm still getting the hang of it.The arrow just made it madder.
Also, what did you use to make that?
Do you think you could produce the same results using GIMP (for the digital art)?I used Paint Tool Sai.
Watercolor is honestly my favorite form of color medium. I'm jealous of artists like you that can get it![]()
Looks fine to me, but I see where you're coming from here. I sometimes know I'm never finished with my work as I know there could be more done to make it so (I learned that from my high school art teacher).
I've never used Gimp actually, but I'm sure there's a way to mess around with the brush settings, like in Photoshop, to make them have a more painterly effect.Do you think you could produce the same results using GIMP (for the digital art)?
Also, cool pics.
