The very first thing to do, right now, is to make family planning services readily available to young black girls. Discourage teenagers from getting pregnant, first and foremost. Treat STIs, make condom use mandatory, start birth control implants for kids who are sexually active.

When teens do get pregnant, help them learn how to parent. It might sound silly, but some young mothers need help with very basic concepts like nutrition, hygiene, literacy.

Implementing these kind of policies as soon we can would have real world consequences almost immediately. It's not fucking rocket surgery.

Not on a big farm, just in my garden for fun. It is a colossial pain in the ass to deal with. Spiky hateful plants, but pretty flowers and cool fluffy little cotton bolls.

Someone in PDX on the loudspeaker on Rosa Watts' stream (now called Rosa En Vivo for some fucking reason) just said "if you see somewhere with blue and red christmas lights, pull out your phone and put them on blast. That's how we protect our community."

So just more calls to fuck with the surrounding community in PDX, what else is new.

This is definitely a trained speaker, he's not saying "y'know what I"m sayin'" every other word even if his message is canned sounding.

Edit: I missed a couple words, the dude said "christmas lights on them" which of course means the cops. He was still advocating for people to stop in the middle of the road and start filming cops but at least that's just reckless rather than what it sounded like.

I grow my own tobacco. At least as far back as Cicero wise men have noted the constitutional benefits of maintaining a garden. There's something spiritually uplifting about working the earth to produce something for yourself.
