A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

Uhh I might be revealing my ignorance here but 400 periods makes sense, that's like 35 years of having periods once a month. But 11,000 period products? That's like 25 "products" per period. Does a woman really use on average 25 pads every time she's on her period? Or are they using some other "products" which I am ignorant of?
Some women use panty liners, which I think are considered period products as well, at the tail end of their period. There's also things like diva cups. So 11k makes sense to me. Plus, I know a few women who wear panty liners with their tampons.

Another day another whining tranny who's complaining about non-existing discrimination.

In this case the problem was he went into a pub and tried to buy alcohol, and because he's 19 he was asked for id, which was male with short hair.

Naturally the pub refused to serve him. Especially as the pub was Wetherspoons, which is hated by literally millions of people for supporting Brexit. So they have to follow the law to the letter.

Trans teen refused service in Glasgow pub for not looking like ID picture

A transgender woman has spoken of her upset after she was refused service in a pub because staff did not think she looked like the person on her ID .

Savanna Galloway, 19, said she left Wetherspoons on Tuesday in tears after being told she would not be served.

She showed her passport to prove her age, but was told by two members of staff her picture did not resemble her.

The pub chain has apologised and said it would review its policies on asking trans customers to provide ID.

But it stressed that it remained a legal requirement for "a valid ID which resembles the person presenting it" to be provided when proof of age is needed.

'That's not you'
Ms Galloway and her friends were in the Counting House in Glasgow when the incident happened.

When asked to prove she was over 18 on entering the pub, the 19-year-old showed her passport and explained to the person on the door that she was trans.

They accepted her passport as proof of her age and the group entered the pub.

Because of coronavirus restrictions, they ordered drinks on an app and had them delivered to the table.

The barman who came to deliver the drinks challenged Ms Galloway's age and asked to see her ID.

She showed him her passport, but Ms Galloway said he told her: "That's not you".

He said her ID could not be accepted and sent for a manager, who agreed the passport was not acceptable.

Ms Galloway said she explained she was transgender, and even offered to remove her wig to show them what was underneath - as in the passport picture she had short hair.

She said her face has not changed structurally: "I think it still visibly looks like me," she added.

The teenager said she then left the pub in tears.

Sensitivity needed
Bars should change their procedures for asking trans customers to provide ID, she said.

It is not the first time she has been questioned about her ID picture. She added: "A few times I've gone in [to other pubs] and they've said 'that's not you', but my voice isn't very feminine so when I speak it clears up the fact that I am trans, and I tell them that I am too."

Being surrounded by a network of supportive friends and relatives since she came out in February last year, she said this was the first time she felt uncomfortable, adding: "I felt like absolute dirt."

She said "I felt horrible. I didn't want to cry... I waited till [the staff left the table] before I left in tears."

"I was lucky enough to be with friends, and that we were in a private area - but if I was rejected in front of loads of people I think it would have felt even worse."

She said the experience made her wonder whether other trans people had faced similar problems, and she thinks changes should be made to Wetherspoons' policies.

"Training for staff is needed to deal with this in a sensitive manner," she said.

Wholehearted apology
A spokesman for Wetherspoons apologised "wholeheartedly for any distress caused".

He said under the law, staff need to ask for photographic ID (like a driving licence or passport) from anyone who appears to be under 25 to prove anyone buying or consuming alcohol is over 18.

The spokesman continued: "Because the staff member believed the customer concerned to be under 25, the customer was asked for ID when drinks were taken to the table after being ordered via the app.

"The picture on the customer's passport did not bear a resemblance to her and therefore she was asked for another form of acceptable [photo] ID, which unfortunately she could not produce.

"The manager stated correctly that the customer would not be served the alcohol ordered as she did not have ID with a true likeness to her and the cost of the drinks was refunded.

"The incident has shown that providing ID for transgender customers may present difficulties and we will review our processes in the area."

He added that it remained a legal requirement for "a valid ID which resembles the person presenting it" to be provided when proof of age is needed.

In the age of Covid especially, I get questioned when I buy alcohol if I wear my hair differently than it looks on my ID picture. It's not like bartenders don't see fake IDs all the time. It ain't transphobia, it's the sellers of age-restricted substances doing their damn jobs. Cry more.

You’re thinking of liners which are shown seperately in the picture. The pads are the thin kind which means there is no difference in thickness compared to a higher absorbency one. Some types of birth control actually make periods longer and heavier.
There is absolutely a difference. Low absorbancy pads are the more common type everyone buys in places where using pads is more common than tampons. A 2/5 rating is standard. It's definitely not the unusual thing about these troon targeted products.

As much as I dislike it, I can't really blame brands using genderspecial nonsense to differentiate themselves. Most people wouldn't pay extra for a new, unproven brand of pads or tampons. It's not like it's a fun thing to buy and show off. They're just garbage that need only be comfortable and cheap before you throw them in the trash. But if you pander to people's delusions and desire to virtue signal, maybe you can make a few extra bucks.

How big could the market for gender special period products be though? A few TIFs and young virtue signaling women, that's probably it. As you say, most women wouldn't go for a new unknown brand, so the brand needs a USP. This one's is that it doesn't mention the word woman. How many women are going to be concerned with that? Most of them probably don't have a strong opinion on the topic (i.e. are neither tervens nor TRAs) and don't give a fuck. So simply removing the word woman isn't going to make them buy this brand over their usual product. Idk I just can't see the pandering pay off in this instance.

This is one of the products on their website. So the poor troons would still get triggered.

Those are £3.99 for 10 pads. So almost 40p per pad. None of the other products are as expensive, not even their organic range. Do our gofundme woksters really have that kind of money to spend 40p for a pad that says person instead of woman?

A woman who allegedly tortured and slashed the throat of her ex-lover's dog was suffering from 'significant issues' related to gender re-assignment treatment, a court has heard.

Olivia Sindel, 24, has been charged with torturing, beating and causing the animal's death in the alleged attack at a home on Cahill Place in Marrickville in Sydney's inner-west at 1.30am on Saturday.

The 13-year-old English Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Rocky died despite being rushed to a vet and the attempts of his owner, 44, to save him - while Sindel was arrested by police on Oxford Street in Surry Hills about 4.20pm that day.

Sindel on Sunday faced Parramatta Bail Court where magistrates heard she had been slamming her head and needed to be sedated by paramedics when police tracked her down.

Mental health experts advised the accused animal killer be kept under supervision to prevent her from harming herself, the court heard.

She showed a red mark on her head to the court during the bail hearing, which ended with the 24-year-old being detained for her psychological care.

The accused stroked her hair and rocked backwards and forwards during her appearance,The Daily Telegraph reported.

Sindel's address was listed as an Ultimo hotel.

'There are significant issues because of the gender reassignment treatment,' Sindel's Legal Aid lawyer said.

'First thing she said to me was that she wanted me to kill her.'

The young woman is also accused of harassing someone in Armidale in northern New South Wales using a landline on the same day as the alleged attack.

Sindel was taken to Surry Hills Police Station after her arrest and charged with torture, beat and cause death of animal.

She was also hit with two charges of stalk or intimidate, two counts of contravening an AVO, two counts of breaching her bail and one of using a carriage service to menace or harass.

Remember when troons were foaming at the mouth because Trump tried to ban them from the military, arguing that none of their tranny treatments had a negative impact on their mental state? Boy, did that narrative change on a dime. :story:

When a troon commits some horrific literally insane crime, then they're completely not responsible because being a troon means you're too mentally ill to be held liable for anything you do. But we should totally train these fucking crazies to use weapons at taxpayer expense, after also paying to have their cocks chopped off at taxpayer expense.

women buy low absorbancy pads all the time. They're called dailies. And not everyone needs a diaper pad to sleep in on their period, especially on birth control.

Any woman who prefers pads over tampons is gross and I would not have them as a friend.

Pads are acceptable postpartum or to stem the bleeding of a traumatic injury on the way to hospital and that is all they should be used for.

No, they probably just have lighter periods and/or dryness sensitive vagina. Not personal experience as my issues are elsewhere but came up while talking about period cups. Women that really love cups told me that tampons had been very uncomfortable or even painful to use. If a cup wasn't an option they would use pads because mess is easier to deal with than pain.

I'm not sticking anything that wasn't autoclaved inside my vag, especially when it's bleeding. It's not a stinkditch and I don't intend it to become one.

it's incredible that the more "inclusive" the language seems to get, the more your identity gets stripped away until you're boiled down to nothing but the fact that you breathe.
The most "inclusive" appellation is just an ID number. That's how prison guards refer to inmates.

TL;DR: mentally-ill man wants 41% but too chickenshit to Just Do It, so he killed an innocent animal instead.

MANILA, Philippines (AP) — The Philippine president pardoned a U.S. Marine on Monday in a surprise move that will free him from imprisonment in the 2014 killing of a transgender Filipino woman that sparked anger in the former American colony.

Foreign Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. said in a tweet that President Rodrigo Duterte “granted an absolute pardon” to Lance Cpl. Joseph Scott Pemberton “to do justice,” but did not elaborate. Duterte was to deliver televised remarks Monday night where he would discuss Pemberton’s case, presidential spokesman Harry Roque said.

A left-wing human rights group, Karapatan, immediately condemned the pardon as a “despicable and shameless mockery of justice and servility to U.S. imperialist interests.”

Pemberton was convicted of homicide and has been serving a prison term of six to 10 years for the killing of Jennifer Laude in a motel in Olongapo city, northwest of Manila. His lawyer, Rowena Garcia-Flores, told The Associated Press that Pemberton was already aware of Duterte’s decision when she called him.

“I heard the news,” Garcia-Flores quoted the 25-year-old Pemberton as saying. “I’m very happy.”

Meeting Pemberton in detention a few days ago, she said he expressed his willingness to apologize to the Laude family even belatedly.

Roque, who once served as a lawyer for the Laude family, said the presidential pardon would mean the immediate release of Pemberton from detention.

“The president has erased the punishment that should be imposed on Pemberton. What the president did not erase was the conviction of Pemberton. He’s still a killer,” Roque told reporters.

Last week, the Regional Trial Court in Olongapo city, which handled Pemberton’s case, ordered authorities to release him early from detention for good conduct, but Laude’s family appealed the order, blocking the Marine’s early release. Roque said the Department of Justice was planning to block Pemberton’s early release with a separate appeal.

The court order rekindled perceptions that American military personnel who run afoul of Philippine laws can get special treatment under the allies’ Visiting Forces Agreement, which provides the legal framework for temporary visits by U.S. forces to the country for large-scale combat exercises.

Pemberton, an anti-tank missile operator from New Bedford, Massachusetts, was one of thousands of American and Philippine military personnel who participated in joint exercises in the country in 2014.

He and a group of other Marines were on leave after the exercises and met Laude and her friends at a bar in Olongapo, a city known for its nightlife outside Subic Bay, a former U.S. Navy base.

Laude was later found dead, her head slumped in a toilet bowl in a motel room, where witnesses said she and Pemberton had checked in. A witness told investigators that Pemberton said he choked Laude after discovering she was transgender.

In December 2015, a judge convicted Pemberton of homicide, not the more serious charge of murder that prosecutors sought. The Olongapo court judge said at the time that she downgraded the charge because factors such as cruelty and treachery had not been proven.

Pemberton has been serving his sentence in a compound jointly guarded by Philippine and American security personnel at the main military camp in metropolitan Manila. The place of detention was agreed to under the terms of the Visiting Forces Agreement, although Laude’s family had demanded that he be held in an ordinary jail.

Garcia-Flores said his detention was shortened by authorities under a Philippine law that allows the reduction of prison terms for good conduct. A lawyer for the Laude family, Virginia Suarez, said the law cannot apply to Pemberton, who has been detained alone in a military camp and given other special privileges under the VFA.

The case has led to calls from some in the Philippines to end the U.S. military presence in the country, a former American colony with which Washington has a mutual defense treaty.
