As someone pointed out, those outside the US, especially our European Friends, often fail to understand the shear scale of America, nor the differences in population density from what they are used to. Most other Western Industrial societies tend to be completely focused in and around the densest urban centers, the large cities. America is much more diffuse. Literally the cheapest and most abundant resource in most of America is land. People spread out more. While we do have dense urban centers, they aren't the center of everything the way they are in other nations. America really has nothing akin to London, Paris, Tokyo or Seoul, where the entirety of the nation and culture seems focused on that one dense singularity. Yeah we have New York and LA, But they are not the overwhelming focus such cities are elsewhere, and can be easily ignored by the populace at large.
These Peaceful Protests... Riots occur in a few blocks of a small number of US cities. They have zero impact on most of the population. And most American's do recognize them as the shrieking temper tantrums of spoiled and overly entitled children who don't get their way. We have cycles of this in American Politics. Generally when the nation is moving more Conservative and those who are incapable of co-existing with others, no matter how many diversity stickers they slap on their Prius, melt down. It never amounts to anything, and will be barely remembered by March. It's simply the Parasite class reminding us that they will throw a tantrum anytime they don't get their way. They are the last thrashing of a dying animal.
