Mulan (2020) - Chink War Movie

Does she even dress like a man in this? I've literally not seen one shot of it, and I thought that was the whole plot of the story.

Here's hoping to a massive bomb. The pandemic finally did something right.
She does for like half the movie, and then in the middle of the first battle just goes “fuck it. I am woman, here me roar” and just tosses all the armor off and just starts using super chi magic to defeat everybody.

Oh, and the part of the first half of the movie is her being a kid and everything, so maybe like...30-40 mins dressed as a man?

Thats a pretty good take

Why did you ever want to see it, based on the trailers and Disney from the last.... 10 years?

I'm in my 30s, I don't really keep up with Disney shit outside of how they ruined Star Wars. I just knew a live action Mulan was being made and I loved the animated movie and the songs in it as a kid, so I figured this would probably be that but live action since they did cut and paste jobs with Beauty and the Beast and Lion King.

I have friend who follows c-drama twitters and stuff and she is telling me that they're absolutely losing their shit over this movie. Apparently a lot of people are claiming the words on Mulan's sword is the FBI's motto and shit. (apparently the characters "Loyal, brave, and true" somehow mean, (fidelity, bravery, integrity) and the fbi is trying to take over China.) I have to see if I can screencap some of the good ones. Honestly - I loved a lot of the original disney songs in the movie - felt it was quaint and kind of stupid. The chi concept has been done to death in most dramas and it's always said "one must work to cultivate their core" or whatever bullshit, and here Mulan is deciding to marvel her way through all of it.

If you see anything that's like the CCP shill version of glowposting, post it.

This isn’t a person claiming the fbi is taking over China, but they did point out the sword thing.
