It is always about combined arms and one of the reasons why WW2 Germany was kicking ass early on was their doctrine that integrated highly mobile troops and heavy armor with infantry and especially the air force.

Tanks are great for taking ground, infantry is always needed to actually keeping it. Which just highlights how long-lived some aspects of warfare tactics are. We have tanks, planes, drones and a thousand gadgets and weapons with insane accuracy and capabilities, but in the end, you need a shitload of grunts stomping around through a city to actually win a war.

What you don’t understand is that they don’t send a drone. They send a swarm and it overwhelms the tank’s defenses. The drones are armed with anti-tank projectiles. A destroyer May have the hardware to fight off a swarm (doubtful) but a tank definitely does not.

Buildings. Exist. So does rubble. And the fact we have commissioned tanks and still are designing them today says a lot. Also, what battle reports?
