BPD is an exceptionally extreme disorder, and based on Faith's current actions, along with the Vicker's chronicle of events, it would difficult for me to believe that she suffers from it, as opposed to another personality disorder. If the Vickers said that prior to leaving, Faith once banged her head so hard against a wall that she cut open her head or something of that nature, I would be more inclined to think she suffers from it. Being a manipulative asshole, in that of itself, is not trait unique to BPD.

That being said, I don't think it's unreasonable to think that Faith suffers from some form of serious mental illness. When Kiwis say "BPD," I read it to mean "some sort of Cluster B disorder" rather than BPD specifically.

After what Mrs Vickers said about Faith being offline for a year (only proves Ralph's control over her every move), I believe that Ralph cancelled the show to keep Faith from finding out and listening to her parents on stream.
If you think about it it makes sense (based on what's known), Ralph has 'encouraged' her to break off all contact so that he's her only lifeline so all information is filtered through him and he can paint whatever picture he wants to her.
If she is not able to access the internet then he doesn't have to worry about any friends or family putting any ideas into her head, it's just Ralph. I'm SURE he watched the stream when Faith was asleep and raged though.

Also, it is true that the more you know the worse Faith comes off, but I do think that she has been groomed by Ralph.
She may be 18, but from what we've heard she has sheltered herself from the world quite a bit (not being able to handle school, spending most of her time online, etc.), she seems to be very immature while also being mentally ill on some level. With that in mind, it is kinda as bad as Ralph grooming a 15-16 year old. She isn't anywhere close to the maturity level of a normal 18 year old and she got involved with people on the internet who took advantage of her because they could.

Yes, she's acted horribly towards her family, but I still place most of the blame on Ralph. His obsessive need to prove that he is 'winning' and that anyone criticizing him is wrong. To the point where Faith is nothing more than a prop to fuck and use against his detractors.

Also, it seems like she's hiding and ignoring everything that's going on online (whether because of Ralph's control or she just can't handle it), so her only source of information for what's going on with her family is Ethan fucking Ralph.
It's a very immature move, but it does go along with the mentally ill angle. She's not able to handle the consequences of her actions or deal with the way anyone she loves would react, so she hides away in the crackshack and pretends the world isn't there even though she's unhappy.

To be clear, I'm not defending her, I just understand why the Vickers won't give up on her (that much became clear during the interview) but they won't just let it go either.
Ralph, I think you unknowingly fucked your life worse than when you tried to punch a cop it will only unravel slower. This is never going away and there will be repercussions for years to come. You deserve all of it and so much worse you piece of shit.

It is clear that is how godwinson thinks, and from the recent stream, you can tell from how he is talking that he is saying what he wants to push narrative a certain way, while he knows the real truth as he talks like he is hosting a comedy show. I realize this sounds quite negative but no, this is a good way to attack the gunt, it is the same way the gunt used to be, when he was not so scared of being banned.

Ralph has to be running scared after this, an interesting comment during this stream was that the vickers are going to try to talk through an advocate to faith, or at least arranging that. They did not want to go into detail about it publicly.

The Vickers' story is heartbreaking and them going public on this has now convinced me, it's the better idea. I originally thought "okay, Faith is fucked up, the Gunt is a fucking sack of shit and should be thrown into the cemetery near his crackbox, provided there's enough land to bury that gunt, but why make all this family stuff public, that's dumb"... well I'm dumb. I was short minded and my views were too simplistic.

Thanks for the public service. The Gunt will be disposed, he is a sack of shit. I honestly fell unwell when Mrs. Vickers was crying. My typical response would have been "eh she's a thot and she gets what she deserves" if this was written in text as some tweet. Hearing it in person even over the cable is something else.
