Selling the forums for low 6 figures was never a realistic option for Lowtax. He'd lose money. The IRS would take it and then the rest would likely go to his ex wives.

Only way to sell would be if Jeffrey offered enough to pay off all his debts post custody/divorce shit plus a bit more for a nest egg to live off of. The site is all LowT has.

Otherwise he might as well just sit on the dribble of income indefinitely and have the possibility of it even growing as goons stop caring or he pretends he sold the site which could buy him a few years before someone figured it out cuz goons are retarded.

By now Logan should realize that goons never liked her and never will like her, despite her achieving Victim status and dishing dirt on lowtax. Jeffrey would be wise to steer clear of her regardless of his intentions to buy the site.

That's not anything new or strange. Goons don't like each other. They're on the site because they feel they don't have anywhere else to go and will immediately cannibalize any member of the community if they think they can get away with it. Years of mutual validation mean nothing if they smell blood in the water. You're only safe if you're under the protection of the jannies.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I know for a fact that troons are stupider than shit and WILL kill themselves if you don’t take an absurd amount of precautions and adorn them in the right silly accessories so that they don’t scare themselves and fall over dead, and even then at best you can reduce the chances that they will do that, but they’re still absolutely going to.

Well that’s true, but many times they will rally around victims to fuel their rage against a target. In this case though they can barely even show tolerance for Logan, as much as they hate lowtax. Jeffrey isn’t winning any support by protecting her so why even bother, unless he needs her for the sale somehow. Or he’s just trying to keep the lowtax hate fresh and deleted Logan’s posts once he realized they were having the opposite effect.
 
Lowtax will never sell the site, that motherfucker is going to be buried with the server pharaoh style. This has been a long con (druggedly accidental as it may have been) to keep the screeching hordes placated by stringing jeffrey along with vagueries and insincere promises. Soon as the dust has settled and Bogan banned from the forums for, I don't know, posting herself recreating goatse in gbs or something, the taxman is gonna end the charade. Jeffy boy being the cuck he is will continue to sawdust the vomit sans recompense as he's accustomed to.

I think Jeff is in on it. They’re both acting really blasé for the amount of money that’s on the table.

Here’s what I think is going on: Rich doesn’t want to give up the forums but fears most goons will leave for offsites if he sticks around (he’s overestimated the moral scruples of the average goon). So he decided to fake a handoff to Jeffrey (maybe in exchange for a small fee) where he still owns SA with Jeff as the frontman for the paypigs.

But Rich never thought out how to actually pull this scam due to his typical laziness, and Jeff is no genius either, so now they’re doing nothing and hoping everyone will forget.

It’s not a logical plan or even a plan at all, but it’s classic Lowtax (a notably stupid and lazy man who never gave a shit about anything).

I think he's doing one of two (and maybe both) things:
He's either trying to run out the clock on goon attention spans.
and trying squeeze Jeffery for as much as possible.
And then sprinkle both liberally with a dusting of "Lazy addict inertia".

This is why VINDICATION and getting a judge to prove him innocent is so important, so he can post a big sticky "FUCK YOU, THERE IS NOT ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO PROVE BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT I BEAT MY WIFE " and get his $10,000/mo patreon back.

In the meantime, he can try to make the deal as favorable as he can, have it so all his tax problems are either setttled or are now Jeff's problem. I think in his rational mind, he's accepted he needs to sell SA, there is no going back. But his id can't stomach it, that's HIS. So he's trying to make the deal so lopsided JEff is either going to walk, or he makes so much on the deal he couldn't even emotionally turn it down.

It wouldn't surprise me either if it started off as an earnest offer from Jeff that Lowtax impulsively agreed to under the influence of whatever. Then decided to pull out at some point either after coming down some from the bender he was on or taking some actual stock of his financials and realizing $100-250K isn't actually enough to "start over" for someone as useless as him. I think if that's what went down that we're still in the"string Jeff along phase" of the plan. An announcement would have already been made if a deal for fake site owner unless he's trying to swindle more money from Jeff.

I was typing out some of the same points as @Ghostse when he made his post. Lowtax wants to get vindicated, he wants to get as much money as he can, and could be self sabotaging because he's such a perpetual fuckup. I'm not entirely sure which it is, but I'm excited to find out! I wouldn't underestimate the ego at play as far as the VINDICATION in court and trying to browbeat people into giving him money. He's shown time and time again that he is that entitled. If a sale is actually going to happen, it's going to be after getting blown out in court.

To me, it seems like it would be in Richard’s best interest to wait until the divorce and custody battles are over before moving forward with the deal. Then he doesn’t have to give a dime to his ex and children. However the timeline for that keeps creeping further out, and the excuses to why the deal isn’t complete are becoming very empty. I can only wonder how long it will take goons to catch on that Jeffrey is okay with that arrangement.
