How does anyone believe someone this retarded? He has literally 0 evidence to support this. The riots in MN are probably well north of a billion dollars in business disruption and damage to property. They asked for 500 million if I remember right.

Even if it was true, it would be like comparing deadly car accidents to murders. One is an accident and the other is intentional.

Had to deal with insurance once. They drag shit out and fight you all the way

Oh yeah, we're seeing it in Minnesota.

Some of these burnt out buildings cost $150K to clean up the rubble and insurance only covers up to $25K. That's why I suspect a lot of these building will just stay rubble forever. Or until, ironically enough, some rich guy comes in, buys up all the properties and cleans up all the rubble with his own crews for pennies on the dollar.

Small businesses are destroyed and big business will swoop in to clean up the mess. Way to go.

Maybe we'll at least get Michael Keaton playing the Vulture out of this. This is literally the storyline to the first Tom Holland Spider-Man movie.

That’s 500M in one city. I would bet you’re at double digit billions easily. Just in Scottsdale one night of rioting cost over 10 million at the mall. Edit: as of 7/6 insurers estimated 2 billion in damage.

I guess it's fitting they destroy so many black businesses demanding reparations, since African kingdoms were responsible for the vast majority of the European slave trade.

All of my private insurance has had exceptions where they don't cover damages caused during civil unrest. I would imagine this is typical for private business insurance as well.

Nope, not even true. Also the gender reveal thing is part of it- the bigger issue is California's hot dry weather, combined with winds and fire hazard areas. They can at least read up on California weather situations before writing this tripe. August is a big fire hazard month for California.

Remember when degenerates like these would get run out of town? Our society has become so polite and complacent that we’ve let the most pathetic and incompetent people have power over what we can say and do. Like is there no one willing to say “the emperor has no clothes” and end the sham of government authority to do this bs stuff and not enforce the laws equally?

Regardless of whether this ends, this thread is an archival piece of history documenting weeks of civil unrest, political discourse, feelings, and autism. This is the most honest source of riot coverage I've seen. You have to applaud that. And the people it attracts. Even when all this ends, save it. This is raw history.

To repost something I made several thousand pages ago, when the riots were new and exciting:

(The innocent days in the beginning, watching 12 riot streams on my big screen tv, dual monitors, and posting on a tablet when this thread went at about 10 pages a minute, listening to old 80s thrash metal. Good times)

Much like the Corona thread, it shows what can happen when you have a place where enough diverse voices from all walks of life congregate and can talk about what's really going on. When different people share different sources.

When shit goes down, I want to see the raw feeds. I want to watch a press conference, not read an article regurgitated by a reporter and an editor talking about it. I want to see live footage, not packaged edited shit. I want to hear the voices of the people there, because only then can I make my mind up about what the real truth is without any spin or manipulation.

One of these days, stuff like this is going to come to my town. It will effect all of us. And if I can even get a 5 minute warning about what's up, that can make a huge difference. So keep it coming.

These riots are much more widespread than 1992 but far more diluted as a result. Twice as many people died in LA than have died up to this point nationwide.
Well, here's what 1992 has on the board:
The riots over five days in the spring of 1992 left more than 50 people dead, and more than 2,000 injured.
The rioting destroyed or damaged over 1,000 buildings in the Los Angeles area. The estimated cost of the damages was over $1 billion.

More than 9,800 California National Guard troops were dispatched to restore order.
Nearly 12,000 people were arrested, though not all the arrests were directly related to the rioting.

EDIT: It's probably never happening but the video is too good not to share

All I'm reminded of is all those people who said that they'd move to Canada if Trump won in 2016. Also. this was in the news in June.

Well, it was only a matter of time before they started giving the peons something to CONSOOM.

Anyone wanna bet on how long it'll take for them to come out with some George Floyd/Jacob Blake Funko Pops? Le Reddit fucking loves Funko Pops, they'd definitely buy one, especially with the bonus that it will enable them to virtue signal about how concerned they are over the plight of POCs.

What else then? Keychains? Beanie Babies? Ahmaud Arbery Lego Sets? Maybe a set of Legos where kids can build the Wendys that BLM burnt down? Maybe skate decks?

We all know that 98% of these fucking idiots have no real personality or innermost thoughts, they're NPCs pretending that all of their 'causes' and all of the shit they like to consoom makes a personality, even though they're boring as fuck and probably have basic bitch tastes anyway.
