I have no doubts that Nick's choice may come back to bite him in the ass, but I don't think it will ever be as bad as Ralph or TUG. He's more down to Earth and keeps people at arm's length when they start getting out of line. We've seen that with Ralph lately, how he's made jokes and the like. So long as he can keep doing that he should be fine, but I think eventually these retards will do something and Nick will just say, "Yeah, I'm done."

I think assigning Nick guilt for the actions of his guests and/or immediate associates is rather unfair. Nick has been consistent in his beliefs of platforming others who portions of his audience have issues with. When he hosted Null and Empsex, some questioned hosting doxers. When he hosts Doug TenNapel, some Comicsgaters question it. When he hosts Ethan, some of Doug's audience questions it. The same can be applied to Ralph, Dick, TUG etc.

I can admire Nick for sticking to his core principles of not wanting to play Internet Dad and be willing to speak to anyone who is willing to have a conversation with him, without being dragged into petty drama. Nick might be having another controversial guest on soon, who will probably be mostly disliked by large segments of his audience and associates, but he is still willing to consider it. I won't name the guest since it still might not happen.

Will this quasi-Switzerland stance of neutrality come back to bite Nick? Eventually I would guess it probably will. Will TUG be the one to trigger this response? I highly doubt it. Despite the evidence of his multiple gayops, allegations of doxing, general grifting and unpleasantness, Mathew Lewis is apart of a niche internet community, which is a small sub-sect of a rapidly dying hobby (comicbooks). Compared to the notoriety of other associates (see Dick, Ralph and Null), I just don't see enough people caring about TUG and his antics for it to ever be relevant enough to be an issue for Nick.

Who the fuck is really neutral? Personally, I try to be as open as possible but I do acknowledge that I have my own biases. What I see from Nick, at least on the surface level, is that he tries to defend people that will turn on him due to some misguided loyalty due to them standing up to the SJW nutters and technically being on the same side as them. But as people have seen, nutters on the anti-sjw crowd are nearly as bad or even just as bad as their enemies (Hello Rapist defender Sushi) and that shit muddies the waters greatly.

Whether or not Nick becomes the next lolcow or proves he is mature enough avoid becoming one remains to be seen.
