Ralph is only able to get people like that for any amount of time but the problem I have, and I am not saying you were doing this, is that line of thought becomes an excuse to absolve and pity horrible people.

When this started, a LOT of people were concerned for Faith. Yes, there were meth jokes, but people still wanted her to wise up to the Gunt. But she kept siding with him. She manipulated her family and people still went "well poor Fai Fai is just a dumb kid. Her parents are ALAWGING Ralph so they are just as bad." No. They aren't. They are frustrated by the grift and rightly so and nothing at this point will excuse her continued behavior.

Don't worry, I completely get it. I've seen VIckers' actions from the start as that of a desperate father that doesn't know what else to do, because of that Faith's actions seem all the more sinister (especially with more information like the grandma, the college fund from customers, etc.).
Like her mother said, she is acting like a spoiled brat and only cares to get what she wants (not having any responsibilities, getting high, drunk and playing video games) and Ralph provides that for the time being.
She won't get off without consequences though, but I hope the family doesn't have to suffer more than what they already have.

Because Ralph knows that Vickers has texts from him saying that Faith admitted to telling the truth, that the abuse story was bullshit and I believe even saying sorry.
